fine then, but it's equally re ed to consider PHI/NY/NJ "rust belt".
Great, so we agree you're wrong about what's considered New England.

Regarding the rest of your post, the term "rust belt" doesn't refer to a tightly defined geographical region the way New England does. It's used to refer to cities/areas in a loosely defined region that have dealt with a significant decline in manufacturing jobs since the 1970s, which absolutely applies to Philadelphia (it doesn't apply to NYC but I never said it did, Lebron was choosing between Philly/LA/CLE a year ago). Philly hasn't suffered as much as places like Youngstown Ohio and has done a good job recovering with other industry (white collar jobs, universities, etc.), but it definitely has all of the characteristics that rust belt cities have (urban blight, a population e in the 1950s followed by several decades of decline, etc.).

A lot more people would consider Philly to be a rust belt city than they would a part of New England

I'm sure you had a great time. Canadians love Americans. I've been to Victoria and Vancouver back in the day. I was like E-2 walking around with some swag.
bull . Everyone hates Americans. In fact Americans buy those little Canadian flag pins on their backpacks when they travel because they are so embarrassed of being an American.

Americans thinking they are the when the rest of the world can’t stand them because of the hordes of ignorant leeches who live vicariously through the small number of great Americans.

You're an idiot. I'm a Sailor who's been around most of the world. Other countries may dislike American leaders, but for the most part love the US of A.

Well, maybe not Pakistan and countries of that ilk. Are you Pakistany?

Now you’re a sailor? Like working in a kitchen on a cruise ship? Hard life man and have to leave family for months unend. I feel for you.

People in the service industry may like Americans because of heavy tipping, but like most annoying people with no personality, they have to buy friends. Most people can’t stand the obnoxiousness of American tourists. They think they own the place and chastise other countries for not being like America. Obviously a small percentage of those tourists ruins it for all Americans.

Canadians love Americans because they desperately wish they were Americans. It's why everything up there is American. They'll deny it, though, what with their massive inferiority complex.
