while i'm generally wary of anything like forced sterilization/castration (human rights issue, whether you like those humans or not), by my understand the chemical castration as used isn't permanent and doesn't cause sterilization. as long as there is sound scientific evidence that it is an effective means of reducing the drive to commit those acts, then its justifiable imho
