He will make his all star games there bc of popularity but the days of anyone thinking that Kyrie is a top tier player are over. Sean Marks though is entering legend status if he manages to get anything for D-Bust. I feel sorry for the team that picks him up thinking he’s gonna be a perennial star caliber player.

The ? Why would the Nets prefer an older, more expensive, overrated, midget guard over Russell?

Kyrie will still have his fanbase of casuals who watch his highlight reels and think he's amazing, tbh. Anyone with a brain already realized that he was nothing special years ago.

It doesn’t make any sense tbh. All the chemistry the Nets had goes away if they replace Russell with Irving.

The Suns would be the perfect fit for D’Tective. Friends with Devin Booker and fills the hole at point guard. Russell/Booker/Ayton is a decent nucleus to build around.

He's a cancer, but much, much, much better than D'Angelo Russell in every facet of basketball..

Russell in the playoffs showed us what he looks like in real games, it was pathetic..

Kyrie at his best is clearly better than DLo. It’s not even debatable. Chemistry is the big question mark, and yeah Kyrie will probably wear out his welcome quickly, just like he did in Boston. But it’s re ed to act like Russell is even close to the caliber of player that Kyrie is.

The Suns always seem one player away from being dangerous, but then Sarver does something re ed to ruin it

I'm not saying Russell > Irving. Just that I would rather have Russell at his price (with the very possible chance of keep evolving) than Irving at his (with what we already know is pretty much a finished product. One that I wouldn't be willing to spend 140 millions on. Especially not when I already have a very good player on his position).

I’d be very surprised if Sarver still owns the Suns 3 years from now, I think he wants to capture the value from arena improvements the city agreed to and then sell the team.

IMO, there's a more likely chance of Russell regressing, rather than improving..he took 10 3s per game and shot 37%, yet his TS% was only 53%, the rest of his game is very limited..if his shot regresses even a little(which is very possible considering the variance of the 3-point shot), that's a huge setback for his game..

There's also the realistic outcome of Durant joining the Nets because of Kyrie, according to most reports..

I was hoping we'd get Irving if Leonard wouldn't come.

After those 2 there ain't nobody else worth a tinker's dam.

Can’t remember honestly, it’s been awhile. I might not have been actively posting as much last time you were here.
