Well by extending this and tying the hands of all three teams, two teams are about experience a huge let down by "The Decision II" which wasn't very popular the first time. Any way he goes others will get to experience the Uncle Dennis effect, which for a PR guy sounds like a lot of bad PR.

Nobody gave two sh*ts about KL when he played here outside of SA. Now he's the epicenter of the entire world. Wow.
Just a year ago, he was just a sad little cripple who got his feelings hurt.
The only reason why is because he's given signals to the media for the last 2 years that he wanted to be in LA. If he didn't do that then he wouldn't be getting all this attention right now. I just hope this re doesn't do a 1+1 or 2 year deal with the Raptors because then we will be subjugated to this bs again in a year or two.

So where is the narrative that the Spurs were right. The injury is degenerative and not the bull doctor 8 said it was. He only played 60 games for the Raptors after he sat out an entire year. There's a good chance with continued degradation that this is his last contract and his effectiveness is on a declining trajectory.

Hopefully it will be a two year deal so the Spurs can grab a top free agent that summer early in the signing season since they won't have to be one of the 4 or so teams sitting around waiting on #2s decision. It would be a nice favor to the Spurs actually.

Seriously. That guy's drama was the worst. It was a complete drag and I'm glad he's gone. Are we a contender now? No, but it's fun going to games again and building a team.
