It’s astonishing to me how many don’t understand this simple rule. I spend a majority of my life these days it seems on I-35 between Austin and SA and it’s absurd how many dummies drive in the passing lane on cruise control at 72 mph.
Yeah it's ing stupid.. God damn sign say's 'Left Lane For Passing Only" and these morons are still oblivious.. I guess they see it and don't think the sign applies to them IDK

I hate it when there's clearly signs for right lane must turn and someone tries ride straight. If I'm next to them, I'll slow down or speed up until they have to turn into a parking lot.

Actually, I haven't done that since I was in my teens. Now I just mentally cuss them out and hope they get into a wreck.

If it seems like it was an honest mistake I'll let them in otherwise they can off. Just as bad as those assholes, that when an off/on ramp is backed up, stay on the neighboring lane and try to switch over at the front of the line. That probably pisses me off more than anything.

I do little like that to with re ed drivers too.. The key is making sure not to look over and let them know you're aware of them. Pretending to be really into a song with a smile om my face as I speed up to ensure aggressive lane changers are boxed in and can't get further ahead any faster

Personally, if I'm going 10 over the speed limit in the fast lane, I don't tend to cater to the assholes.
That's passive aggressive . I usually move out of the way regardless of how fast I'm going.

There was this one time though when I was planning to move, but there were two semis to my right and rather than give me time to pass them up and then move over the POS started riding my ass really hard. I slowed down and didn't let him pass for a good 5-10 mins. Once I got bored of that I downshifted and left his ass in the dust. He wanted to pass me up so bad and I wasn't going to give him that satisfaction.

Yeah...this too. In these cases, I pull my car over so there’s no room to pass. And then I feel like all the other patient cars are mentally saying “thumbs up dude”.

Bro.. You know what makes me rage even harder than that? The stupid ultra patient nice dumb s who actually allow said asshole to enter after skipping the entire line.. I seriously keep my front bumper 5 inches off the next vehicle as it's my job to ensure some got can't wedge the front of his vehicle in front of me

Not worth the trouble tbh.. the whole reason there was a up on the road was more than likely because the person is re ed, and now to let that person bait you into further re ation means two re s. Everybody is packing these days in Texas, and 75% of these people are scared to take an ass whipping so will pull their gun as the first option. The last time I had a guy acting crazy like that on the road I gave him the sign of the cross and dude was surprised as and just took off lol

My Dad was in the trucking industry for 50+ years, and he was definitely considerate on the road.. but he would tell me that sometimes he would have to make moves on the highway and people would have to move or get hit simply because nobody would let him in even with his blinkers on.. He said LA was absolutely the most assholes on the road, period. Considering the driver isn't too worried considering the size of his vehicle and the fact the trucking company's insurance is gonna handle any potential bills, I always keep my distance from 18 wheelers.
I ing love almost everything about LA but the traffic is so horrific it completely cancels out how amazing the weather is. Driving a Toyota sucks out there, much less an 18-wheeler. I just couldn't imagine trying to change lanes in an 18-wheeler in that traffic or how slow it would be and how much it would cost in gas to be in stop-start traffic there. And then no protected lefts on most city streets? Sounds like a nightmare.

Yeah, that probably is worse. I keep my car inches from the car in front of me too and if required also do like SFS, only for some re to ruin all that hard work.

No, it's not. Anything faster than that is likely unsafe. I don't cater to people being unsafe.

Yea, I'll admit I'll doing stuff like that if a person's a and I'm in a mood. Dude was being a for like two miles on my morning drive to work. You know how these ers get. And then I could tell he wanted to pass in the wrong lane and cut me off. I floored it like mf 80 on cross street to not let him play me like that. I mean, who does that ?

In Texas, you'd get a ticket for cruising in the passing lane.

She was probably sexy as too.. They have a "no fat ugly " rule there at La Cantera
Surprisingly she wasn't. She looked a lot like Judy Booty. Must've been there picking up soap at Bath and Body Works or something

Two lane highways where two cars in each lane are going the exact same speed blocking anyone from passing is one of the most infuriating things driving, especially if it’s on a long stretch.

Lane 1 car (passing): SPEED UP!!

    or

    Lane 2 car: SLOW DOWN!!

For the love of God, someone do something!!!

Me neither. I'm sure it's really difficult to prove so cops don't bother much.

Either way it's still the law to move the over.

Yeah I hate that too. I also don't understand why anyone would be okay driving for miles with a vehicle right next to them. If there's something in the road, you greatly limit your swerve options.

Same.. closest I've ever heard to this law being enforced was a ditzy older co-worker saying she was in the passing lane on 35 somewhere, and the cop starts riding her ass and ultimately flashing his lights.. pulled her over and scolded her for not moving over and allowing him to pass.

Think I may have seen that in the DFW area a time or two.
