No he's not I don't think you people realize how bad this guy was in the playoffs, He couldn't guard anyone and couldn't hit a shot the whole series. You know you're bad when you look worse than Marco and Patty.
Feel bad for the guy. You can understand the whole “nba is a business” thing, and that your former team felt they had to make a move. But then you see the Morris thing fall apart, and are like WTF, I’m way better than Trey Lyles.

Damn, he looks so sad.
Marcus Morris.
How was this the FO's fault? They had a commitment from Morris, and everyone was lauding it as a great move and praising the FO until he ed out on the deal.
When teams get a verbal commitment, the expectation is that it will hold up and in 99% of cases, it does.
This is all on the Knicks and Morris...the Spurs acted in good faith and got screwed.
No. The only difference was he wasnt one of Pop's favorites and wasn't force fed consistent minutes. Wombat shot 20% from the field and 10% from three ffs. I dont think Davis could've been that bad over 7 games even if he tried, tbh.
he’s unplayable when his shot isn’t falling which is every playoffs. inflated no pressure regular season stats that don’t convert at all to the post season. actually can’t defend anybody. I’m happy we have Lyles over this idiot tbh
Exactly Bertans sucks every playoffs he can't hit .
DC will be great for him. His playoff drop off won't ever happen.
They trusted a snake like Morris. I knew better.
smh greys
It's almost like y'all don't remember Forbes' 2018 playoffs and how much he improved these past playoffs. I can see labeling older players (Bonner, Wombat, etc), that have received consistent minutes and failed time and time again in the playoffs, as not good enough to contribute when it counts. Davis is still too young though. You can't just assume that there's no chance he'll eventually figure it out and be a contributor just like Forbes.
That's Mills, yet he played the last 20 minutes of game 7 despite not doing anything of worth.
Mills was doing more than White. Unfortunately, White played himself out of the game. It happens to young players and White will learn from that.
Mills didn't hit a single shot on that span. WTF did he do, tbh?![]()
Bertans so far has proven to be better than Lyles.
Even when Bertans shot isn't falling he still keeps the defense honest due to the threat of hitting 3 point shots at a high %. Hopefully Lyles can get better and prove to be at the least a solid NBA rotation player
White didn't hit a single shot all game.
Not sure why but this looks like a generic af locker room. Kinda matches what that team puts on the floor year in year out. Sad to see Davis on another team. I just can't get thru my head that Lyles will be any sort of impact player. Hopefully Bertans gets heavy minutes in Washington.
So, at worst, he would have hit the same amount of shots Mills did while playing better defense.
He was just more assertive.
Once denver figured out how to defend D, White he become a liability.
Mills is obviously trash though.
The challenge with White this offseason is to add moves to his drives and be a more aggressive shooter.
In what way? IIRC he attempted like one shot in that second half.
People act like only White struggled Game 7. The whole team other than Gay and Forbes were the first half. All the other key players got a chance to play through it and ended up making some contributions in the failed comeback attempt. White would've too he just didn't get the chance.
They were sagging off White and White wouldn't seize the moment. Spurs getting some late offensive mojo can be contributed to Mills stretching the D. It's that simple.
Yeah I bet DEN was really focusing on the guy that shot 10% from three in the playoffs.![]()
It still hurtswill it ever not hurt?
