Think about the success Randy Moss has had. Lebron is bigger, stronger, a better jumper, and 4-5 inches taller to begin with. As a receiver or TE, Lebron would be a beast. He's more athletic than the premier receivers and TEs in the NFL.

The browns sign him in 2010 haha he would help them a lot..
Such an athlete as Lebron is, I think could make it in almost any sport. Maybe not just as great as he is in basketball, but still be a average pro.
Those of you who think he couldn't play in the NFL are crazy. The dude is ridiculously strong, tall, and athletically gifted. Get a quarterback who can throw lob passes to the corner, 11 feet above the ground, and who is going to catch it other than LeBron? Nobody.
What he said.
Guy is a physichal speciment.... he could be one of the best players in sports like handball, football, rugby and all sorts of diferent sorts where the combination of speed/strength/skill is in there. (also being tall)
Antonio Gates didn't play football in college
LeBron could defintely play football. It is not even outlandish. He has the physical tools obviously.
Basketball players as a goup are probably the finest natural athletes in the world. They have size, speed (especially in short bursts)great hands, eye/hand coordination, leaping ability, etc.
Some basketball players-- and even track stars-- with virtually no football experience have made it in the NFL. I can call to mind 3 that played with the Cowboys--Pete Gent who was a wide receiver, Cornell Green who was an All-Pro at Cornerback and Bob Hayes.
I don't think many would make it at any of the interior line positions, but they could be formidable at tight end, wide receiver or some of the defensive back positions, providing of course that they'd be willing to take the pay cut along with some hits.
The AVERAGE NBA player makes more money than most of the star quality NFL players
why not??
Pele was good enough to play profesional bball, Nash is good enough to play professional soccer, Manu is good enough to be a professional bat hunter, etc, etc
if you are really good at a sport like bball, chances are you will be good at other sports
First he copies Michael Jordan, now he copies Glen Davis.
Why not? The Browns back in the '70s and '80s had a receiver named Dave Logan who was drafted by the NFL, NBA (Kansas City Kings) and MLB (Cincinnati Reds.) If Dave Logan was good enough to be drafted into the NBA, and presumably play in the NBA, LeBron is probably good enough to play in the NFL.
