top 4 behind Manu, David and Tim.
Dude your anti-TP agenda is laughable....

4th year player > Best PG in franchise history

BTW....I'm a huge Leonard supporter. I hope we give the guy the max and he stays a Spur for life....and I hope he can somehow become the greatest Spur of all time (even above Timmy). But to say that he is already more accomplished than TP is ing laughable.

    All-time great ?

Isn't it TOO EARLY for anybody to talk about Kawhi being in that category???
He has not lead the team to greatness by himself yet..that is, without the legendary all-time winning trio.
He has to win first at least a regular MVP, a DPOY, or a lead in the regular season scoring voted to the All-Star games or mayve win an ASG MVP ...to get the attention.
    Too early to tell..

I doubt if Michael Jordan consider himself as great when he was just starting in rhe NBA.

Let's just get back to earth. Back to reality.

Leonard is a franchise player..thinking otherwise is stupid and mainstream.
if you're saying "everybody should think leonard is a franchise player"... then that would make the Leonard = franchise player argument mainstream

Jesus christ. I hate spurs fans from the first ring on. They suck and know zero franchise players or history.
    Can we get this banned

How do people keep on dismissing Gervin? One of the greatest scorers of all-time, team was always in the playoffs and a threat with him as the Franchise player. It's hard for me to say that Manu or Tony rank above him. But so many do so without hesitation.

Guess it's just the age of the fans and the time he played.

Kawhi is the best player on the spurs this year. Although he does not have the offensive numbers for the casual fan to "eye test" him as a franchise player, he is a top 10 player in the league per RPM, due to his being an elite defensive player and a good offensive player.

Even so, I don't think he belongs in the discussion of all-time greats, not by a long shot.

To be in the all-time discussion, he needs to be the top player (or so) in the league at least for a few years.

He simply does not have enough success to be in the discussion by consideration of individual accomplishments (All-stars, league MVP, stats), or team success (# championships as clearly best player, even if you count last year).

I mean, he already has an FMVP, and he is young so who knows where he goes in the future. IMO, he is clearly a top 10 player and the best player on the spurs, but all-time great? Today? No way. We have Tim, Kobe, and Shaq as recent all-time greats from the 2000's, and Kawhi is not in the same statosphere as those guys in terms of accomplishments to date.

So, what can we take from this:

    Deluded?
    Kidding?
    Irrational?
I really want to understand how someone could say this and be serious. Lets level set. Who actually agrees with nut-hugger? I want to see people defend that and pass the laugh test.

I am posting this because I can't take someone seriously if they are going to say things like this. I am trying to see if there is anything redeeming about the content of the poster's posts. Anything other than comedy value as reason to not block at this point.
    It's called trolling.

It's restricted free agency. He can't dictate the contract. The market does. He'll get the max. I just think you're ignoring the an amount of control he has.

People again, assume the spurs have some sort of magic momentum. Once the big three retire we're a small market with a single all star. If kawhi can succeed there, he can succeed in every nba offense. Leaving the spurs maybe exactly what needs to happen if he wants to be a .hof player

Unless he asks them not to I feel they match the max contract offer to keep him. He is worth it.
