There's no way Pop should ever be fired. When he feels like leaving is when he should leave. Even with his questionable coaching the last few months, he's had the deck stacked against him since even before the season started. I trust that he's doing what he thinks gives the team the best shot at a championship.
If he's still starting Finley and using Vaughn as the backup point guard a decade from now, then maybe a discussion about his job could be in order. Until then, there's no doubt the Spurs are in the best possible hands.
