Everything I read yesterday on gamespot and IGN were very good reviews at least for the games I was interested in and for the hardware. The general consensus seemed to be pleasantly surprised for how well everything worked. I haven't read a single thing about lag yet on the release hardware. I haven't read reviews for joy ride, etc... the games that are supposed to suck. The Kinectimals or whatever it is seems to be getting good reviews though I have no interest in it. The main things I've been reading have been for the hardware, dance central and a little on kinect adventures and kinect sports. I saw the compilation reviews for Dance Central and everything was 8/10 or higher. The big telling thing to me I thought was the video/review where 8 or 9 editors gave their impression of kinect and all of them were positive and many of them said they weren't interested before, and then after they played they went out and preordered.
Finally got the tracking info for mine, won't be getting it in until Tuesday. Somewhat disappointed because I had free time to play with it this weekend and had family in town but will have to wait for a while to play it once I get it I suppose. Again, I'm not looking for anything ground breaking and I'm sure Move has it's advantages in certain places, but I'm looking forward to it for what it is and I think it'll be entertaining for what I want.
