I don't think the Rams are that talented IMO..
No one responded to this but I agree. If the Pats can overcome the talent disparity against the Chiefs @ Arrowhead then they can overcome the talent gap against LA in a stadium that will probably have more Pats fans.

Ginobili sucked. He was the 57th pick in the draft. (Let's see if this gets him fired up)

    Come at me bro.....
I was expecting that answer a lot sooner, tbh.

Ginobili was a different case because the NBA didn't pay much attention to non US basketball, tbh. So it wasn't that Manu wasn't that good, it was just that the NBA didn't pay enough attention.

Also, Manu isn't even close to the GOAT debate.

yes tbh. manning was always much better in reg season than playoffs... brady has always been as good or better in playoffs. thats on the player, not the team
Brady's first couple of playoffs runs (the ones that take the burden out of you) weren't anything special, tbh. He just had a defense that allowed him to game manage his way to wins, tbh.

If Manning would have had that earlier on his career he might be seen differently. The only times he got a good defense the dude got to the SB, tbh.

I know how hard it is to achieve that's why once it happens it will be the GOAT. I just think it will happen.

In terms of individual stats and accolades we know that any QB that appears from now on will have an advantage because of the pass happy era we are in.

Then it's just a matter of someone winning 3 or 4 SB's and that's it.
"just a matter of winning 3 or 4 SBs and that's it"

Manning has 2, and they were with different teams (not a knock on him, only mentioning that to show that he needed to switch teams to do it). Brees only has 1. Rodgers only has 1. Extended superbowl dynasties simply don't happen the way they used to. The QBs make too much money now for the teammates around them to be good enough to contend for an extended period of time.

Are you re ed? What part of my comment made you think that I actually believed you thought Ginobili sucked?

But since I brought up Brady's draft placement, I expected people to bring Ginobili's draft placement too as a counter-argument. Also, I never said Brady sucked, in fact, I'm pretty much conceding he's the GOAT.

This actually works in my favour. In fact, I was about to use it as an argument why he isn't Jordan.

The reason why so many folks had (and still have) a hard time placing Brady as the GOAT despite all his success is because he was never as individually dominant as a Jordan in basketball. MJ was so above everything we had seen before that he was widely considered the GOAT even after his first 3peat, he didn't even need the second one.
MJ wasn’t above everything we had seen before

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Personally I don't think it's far stretched to expect a GOAT level QB to win 3 or 4 SB's somewhere down the line.

Still waiting to hear about the great defense when he beat Carolina 32-29.

    Regarding Manning:

2005 Colts - 2nd in points allowed per game
2007 Colts - 1st in points allowed per game
2008 Colts - 7th in points allowed per game
2012 Broncos - 4th in points allowed per game

In 3 of those 4 seasons he lost home playoff games

Peyton Manning is the only QB in NFL history to throw more INTs than Touchdowns in a postseason and win the SB.

How does Fivehead still have fanboys putting him in the GOAT discussion? Despite playing on mega-stacked teams his entire career, in an era of inflated passing stats and greatly curtailed defenses, he has the most one-and-dones in NFL history. End of discussion.

As long as he's able to cheese his way through the regular season and get a 1st round bye so he only has to play 1 playoff game without a bye week, he might as well.

As long as nobody flattens him, he will probably play into the next decade tbh. That big hit will come any day now, gotta enjoy it until then.

Why not? He doesn't have to run and he didn't even have to use his deep ball tonight..he can make those 5-10 yard passes all day and his intelligence is always superior to the opposition..
