Is Pop cutting his losses right now resting Tony and McDyess? Sacrificing the 1 seed and just coasting until Tim gets back?
Sounds like guys are seriously banged up. Losing this game isn't necessarily sacrificing the 1 seed.

I could have bet on a TP or McDyess getting injured tonight honestly

They scared us a few times these last games and probably have mild injuries already...

I take a 2nd spot with a healthy roster over the 1st spot and key players injured ANY DAY

I still think we're going to win tonight though...

The Spurs only chance tonight is the Blazers totally come out underestimating us and we build a big lead and then try to hang on for dear life the rest of the way.

I didn't think it was possible, but we're inching closer and closer to giving it up. Lakers could conceivably win all but one or two of their remaining games. We could conceivably lose until Duncan comes back or until we face a scrub team. How much of a nightmare scenario would it be for the game against LA (in LA!!) to be the deciding factor for HCA?? That cannot be allowed to happen

Now I know how Dallas must've felt in '03. They jumped out to a huge lead in the West, but to quote Don Nelson, the Spurs just "forgot that they are supposed to lose a game here or there".

@people thinking we will win tonight

    why not?

I remember a game AT Denver without the big 3 and Finley the team almost won...

With a good D and a high % 3pts it can be done!

    JMcDonald_SAEN:
One positive injury update: Ran into Manu Ginobili walking into the arena tonight. Looked much better than leaving Memphis last night.

Backs against the wall. Something tells me we could have all but 5 guys out and we'd still find a way to win tonight. It just feels right.

So who do you think will be our leading scorer tonight?

My guess - Tiago. Just a feeling. Logic says Hill or Neal.

Apparently Tony's knee was in pretty bad shape before the game yesterday. Looks like Pop is letting everyone rest for 3 days and then going hard at it to clinch.

gotta love POP..apprently he knows we'll be ok...he's more concerned with health of his players..Spurs can win anywhere on the road...He will have this team ready...you dont have to tell timmy, TP , and Manu to get pumped for the playoffs..They'll be ready..Pop will legitimize how time and time again he knows the pulse of the Spurs..make no mistake, the NBA may sleep on the Spurs but we know what this team is capable of come playoff time...let's shut them up come playoff time...
