    Just got it on my ps3. It's a good thing I have 2 months remaining on my ps3 Warranty from Best Buy.

    I only got a new ps3. I really wanted my money back to buy a desktop. I really hate this ty ps3.

    Yep. Completely the same.

    A ~1% fail rate vs. a ~30-60% fail rate is exactly the same thing.

    Both companies suck.

    Microsoft has re ed BSOD rates on Win98 and high RROD rates on early Xboxes. Sony had ridiculously high DRE rates on their first gen PS2s, to the point where I don't even know if any first gen PS2s actually work to this day.

    The only way to win with faulty hardware is to go with nintendo, otherwise you're in for a crap shoot.

    i got my ps2 the day it came out, and it works........................................after i sent it to get fixed in California for a couple weeks, it did give me a reason to get an xbox though
