The fits that those mid-80s Jazz teams would take when Magic would plow thru the lane and the whistle would sound.

    Oh, my.

I'd put money on the Jazz getting to at least 2 more NBA Finals (1990 and 1992) and maybe another so Utah would have had a couple more chances at it than the two NBA chances the Karl Malone Jazz had.

The fits that those mid-80s Jazz teams would take when Magic would plow thru the lane and the whistle would sound.

    Oh, my.
    I know seriously.

Imagine Tim Duncan's befuddled dumbfounded bug eyed expression while Magic Johnson breezed by him for no look passes to a cutting James Worthy or Byron Scott.

Wouldn't have beat the 80s Lakers, Hakeems Rockets or Michael's Bulls and all this claim to greatness would be a figment of Timmy Tots imagination.

    Sir Charles
    The Mailman
    and Timothy

    All with 0 rings.

    Yeah tell me about it.

Fortunately he got to play against a lot worse players than that like Kobe Bryant, so it's ok.

    WOW 2 more Finals appearances!!

They may have been able to capitalize in the early 90s with Tim still in good form but he's broken down MUCH more than Malone did at the same age. At Tims current age Karl was winning MVPs whereas Timothy isn't even considered top 10 in the league and his team isn't even a contender.

    Bottom line: ZERO NBA LEs

What if Portland didn't draft Same Bowie in 1984?

They would have drafted a 22 year old Greg Oden

I think if the 88 Jazz had Duncan instead of Malone they have an good chance to beat LA given that they lost to LA in 7 with Malone. Mark Eaton and Duncan up front woulda been nasty.

Just imagine the numbers Duncan would put up playing with a legit PG, his numbers would be crazy. His entire career he's never had a true PG, Tony is good but he's not a pass first PG, he's more of a scorer.
