:Lmao at implying we need Hunter and Manningham to win this game.
I'll give my thoughts if this is the actual matchup
Why waste time?
Tom Brady in another Superbowl vs a rookie QB (more or less) is all the game will be about. The size of the moment right up Brady's alley, something totally new to Kaepernick.
The Niners are my team but unlike some fans I don't get silly with it. Without Manningham and Hunter and a less than 100% Justin Smith I don't like their chances vs a team that knows what SB's are all about. If everyone was healthy I wouldn't be talking up the Pats in this "spot". It would be..."hey, ya never know".
Obviously you're thinking...."oh yeah, what if one or both of those teams lose Sunday?" The football Gods won't let that happen. Who wants to see Joe Flacco vs Matt Ryan (outside Baltimore/Atlanta)...yep, nobody. The Football world wants to see the great Tom Brady vs that kid who can run, and that's what we'll see. With that said it will be Steven Ridley the big difference maker.
Prior to the season Vegas had it...New England vs San Francisco...in the SB, yep, they nailed it. Most those football mags had it the same. It's just the game that makes the most sense and the best matchup. East coast vs west coast.
Of course if this were a movie, Kaepernick gets banged up early on trying to jump over a tackler..........enter....Alex Smith who does his best Joe Montana impersonation while leading the Niners to a big win.
Too bad Olympic sprinter Jeff Demps won't be ready to go for the Pats, would love to hear the announcers FINALLY get it right when they say.....he has world class speed. Funny how I never heard that said about Trindon Holliday who also has that WCS. The Raiders Jacoby Ford the only other NFLer with................

How about some reality? I think it was I'd feel a lot better about things if we had our second best receiver and back. Hunter is great, very explosive. James has better speed but not as quick. yes we'll miss Manningham, he's far better tnan this Randy Moss.
I could change my mind if the Niners totally destroy Atlanta while the Pats barely slip by.
When experienced SB teams like the Pats meet up with first time SB teams like these Niners ya gotta lean towards the experienced team. They've been there done that.

Pats-Falcons is going to be a fun SB. I think it'll be the highest scoring SB ever
No way the Niners beat the Falcons in Atlanta. A half-year starter winning on the road in a dome in the playoffs? Not gonna happen.
Avante's premature ejaculation is the only thing that scares me about Sunday.
If the Niners can beat NE on the road they can beat the Falcons, who played a sissy schedule and are really lucky to still be playing. The Niners have the better lines, by far the better coach, the better backs, the better defense.
None of us Niner fans have to worry about this game, it's the next game we need to worry about.
For the most part, I agree. What does worry me a bit is if the Falcons use the one formula that has worked against the Niners all year and pound away with Turner and Rogers, thereby opening up playaction opportunities for those great Atl receivers. The Rams, Vikings and Semen Pigeons all controlled clock and played a physical game against the Niners to great success. Pass-happy teams had trouble.
The Niner defense has to get pressure, meaning J Smith has to be a beast, draw double teams, and allow A Smith to get in the backfield. He's gone 4 straight games without a sack.
The Georgia Dome doesn't scare me a bit, and I don't think Kap will have any trouble there.
I really like the way San Fran matches up against the Falcon defense. That's why I think it will be a scarlet and gold win going away
And yeah, the coaching matchup is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in the Niners favor.
The Seahawks are better than the Niners. If they couldn't do it, the Niners won't do it.
As you know we beat...
GB
NE
NO
...on the road.
The Niners are simply the better team and know how to win playoff games. Harbaugh...25-8-1, now add that defense. I can't see anyway the Falcons can win this game. Turner is too slow to deal with our backers. Rodgers too small. I do see the Falcons in third and long most the day, yes like you mentioned the Smith brothers are deadly in that situation.
Yes yes yes if Ginn fumbles a kick, we see a blocked punt, a pick six, a lot of penalties, stuff like that is the only chance the Falcons have. , a Niner blow out wouldn't surprise me at all.
That's why the Semen Pigeons won the division, right?
Remember 13-6?
Remember your stolen victory via Golden Taint?
Remember how the Niners didn't have J. Smith and halved the playbook for your blowout win? (Really, no excuses for that one. Splooge Chickens are the best home team in the league and bashed that Niner head in)
Why are you such a re ed homer, tlongII? How about some real football reasons for picking the Falcons
You can't be serious.
The Niners lost to the Seahawks in that dreaded back to back on the road scenario. Show me one team in the league that won back to back road games vs playoff caliber teams, it rarely happens.
The Niners have the better team, not even debatable. And the Seahawks could do it as we saw. Pete Carroll doesn't go stupid they do beat them.
TlongII thinks his shtick is the funniest thing around.
Niners easily win. 3rd straight SB loss for the Pats![]()
Oh look, another epic failure wrong prediction thread by the dumbest mother er and least knowledgeable NFL person in this forum
I swear, it's too bad that you weren't the one who was stabbed in the neck after the 49ers-Falcons game
Well, he got 50% of his prediction correct......par the course.
And when 49ers win, it'll be down to 1 of 3, since the thread predicts 49ers would make it and lose.
Man, I'm so glad Flacco, Harbaugh, Ray Ray, et al. didn't waste their time![]()
