Watching these first round playoffs made me realize that Manu scores a lot of points from runners and tear drops nowadays. Seems kinda new to me, as I haven't really thought about it. When did he start using that more often? After he broke his arm?

Since this series I guess never noticed before as an usual weapon.
no lyfe scrub, welcome to the nba, let me introduce you to manu ginobili
Since '03. He just doesn't use it as much as Parker, that is why you probably haven't notice it.
I forgot who it was against, but in the '03 run, he had this insane 360 floater he made while getting fouled and knocked to the ground. That one was the most memorable one for me.
It was against the mavs.
This is as dumb as asking.... Why does all of a sudden the spurs have this guy that scores a lot of points in the playoffs and last year he didnt show up?
Yeah, he's had it for awhile, though he's been using it a lot more in this series, it seems.
I agree he's using it more these days, maybe because he's slower and is getting cut off from the basket by his defender more often than in the past. One thing I've noticed, it seems he lets it go further away from the basket than Tony.
That's just an optical illusion because of Manu's longer arms.
He has been going wide off of pnr and finishing with that left handed floater from the left corner of the lane all season. It's nice to see you guys noticed finally.
He also shoot it much higher from a full arm extension. It is closer to a finger roll than a floater. Tony will release his floater at all points from shoulder to up high.
