He's pretty damn good. Can definitely see him being a future HOF QB.
PRobably overreacted... he in in a great system surrounded by loads of talent, great coaching, etc.
Agreed with mono on some of the "wonkiness" but that seems fixable ... he's only 19.
Also regardless of the system/Clemson talent/coaching he seems to have all the physical tools and can make all the throws, doesn't make mistakes.

Dude broke all of Deshaun Watson's high school passing records and Clemson's records? I don't know what'll happen in the 2 seasons he has to stay in Death Valley, but he seems to have the attributes and more importantly he's cool as ice in the bright moments. That, may be worth a Top-10 draft pick in a couple years.

he's not even eligible until the 2021 draft and the hype is already there. it's gonna be a looong hype machine. but he looks awesome
i haven't watched that much from him, tbh... probably wont until the months leading up to the 2021 draft. generally just not interested in college football except during NFL draft season.
but the play he makes at 4:35 here is something scouts will drool over. most college highlights are trash plays when a receiver is wide open or there's an embarrassing missed tackle leading to a long undeserved TD's. but these are the plays that show NFL traits. keeps his eyes centered after the snap, pressure in his face as he throws, and throws a dart splitting the defenders. just wow.

Still no parity and the "elite teams" usually have 10 free wins a year and a bunch of rent a wins.

its just tough to project considering he's 2 years out. when luck was hyped, he went back to stanford for another year, but it was just a 1 year wait.
gotta look at teams likely to be awful in 2020 (which in and of itself will be difficult to predict more than a year out) and needing a qb by 2021...

I don't know how people watch college sports..I tried doing it this year through gambling, the players are so bad and the NCAA is so crooked, it's tough to stomach..
