If specifically asked about this incident Biden should condemn it, but neither Biden nor Trump should be expected to go out of their way to condemn every single politically-driven act of violence from their supporters regardless of severity. No different than when a fan of X celebrity sends a death threat to celebrity Y for winning a Grammy, the idea that public figures bear responsibility for the behavior of their supporters and fans is stupid. Ironically with respect to the OP, snowflake liberals blame public figures for what their supporters do all the time.
