President Donald Trump is begging for money from his supporters to help save the Senate from going Democratic in the Georgia runoff. But according to the fine print, the money isn’t all going to Georiga.

“Contributions to TMAGAC made by an Individual/Federal Multicandidate Political Committee will be allocated according to the following formula: 60% to DJTP for deposit in DJTP’s 2020 General Election Account for the retirement of general election debt (up to a maximum of $2,800/$5,000) or, if such debt has been retired or any portion of the contribution would exceed the limit to the 2020 General Election Account, for deposit in DJTP’s Recount Account (up to a maximum of $3,800/$5,000); 40% to the RNC’s Operating account (up to a maximum of $35,500/$15,000); and any additional funds to the RNC for deposit in the RNC’s Legal Proceedings account or Headquarters account (up to a maximum of $213,000/$90,000).”

it’s one thing for Trump to grift his supporters, but I’m amazed the GOP is siphoning money away from an important runoff election just to help Trump after he already lost. It really is the party of Trump now.

What does “unlocking 1000%” impact mean? Sounds like a 10x match but they didn’t actually say that which makes me think it’s a trick.

Pretty sure they were lying about that before when they said it too. Where exactly is the 10x match even coming from

Trump knocking the integrity of Georgia elections two months before an important runoff might make a few MAGAs complacent, in addition to siphoning away money and oxygen for his own doomed attempt to spoil the election.

Just curious, besides Romney and Toomey, which Republicans have ruled out the possibility of a nullified election and ooup d'etat?

Some of the Senators have a big MAGA cons uency.
This will take time and maybe Trump in jail.
Ted Cruz certainly knows this. Cornyn distanced himself from Trump just enough to stay neutral and in the Senate.

Speaker of the Pennsylvania state House has already said there won’t be any shenanigans awarding picking electors for the candidate who doesn’t win the state’s popular vote.

Im not concerned simply because the rich folks wouldn’t want a coup. If this country demontsrates an inability to have fair elections and peacefully transition power, our credit rating plummets and we default on our debt.
