You guys are dreaming. No way Bernie gets a cabinet seat. Besides, Vermont has a Republican governor. You really think Biden would give up a senate seat as close as it is?

The dems don't have control of the Senate. They don't lose a lot by, again, not having control of the Senate. I wouldn't cheat my administration for Senate seats during a pandemic, if I was Joe.

But these cabinet positions are basically trophies, it's no wonder these departments are run so ty. Find someone who's been in that department long enough who knows the issues, and promote them.

Phil Scott said he’d replace Bernie with another leftist if Bernie got a cabinet seat but regardless he’s not getting secretary of labor.

    Also from that article:

"I sometimes find it amusing when our opponents talk about the far left agenda," Sanders said over the weekend. "The truth is that when you talk about raising the minimum wage to 15 bucks an hour, when you're talking about expanding health care to all people as a human right, when you talk about effectively taking on climate change, when you talk about making public colleges and universities tuition free, these are not far-left ideas.

"These are commonsense ideas that the majority of the American people support,"
But for the tle they chose a quote that doesn't represent the spirit of the statement at all. Journalism at its worst, tbh.
