I'm not saying nothing of the sort, I'm just saying he's clearly gonna be an all-star. Is any all-star automatically better than Manu?

How can folks say this is the flattest draft at the top, and also then say that trading up 2 slots (mind you, outside of the top 3) requires giving up a solid role player to do so?

Taller and longer is so close that it's kind of a reach to emphasize it. 0.25 inches taller? Buzelis is also 6 months older, for all anyone knows Risacher could grow 0.25 inches in the next 6 months. And the vertical numbers have their own problems: if they're legit, then Buzelis has a...

Kawhi's VORP was 2.1 as a rookie, second season he was doing a great job guarding LeBron in the Finals, third year he was Finals MVP. Cade's first two years he was replacement level and Year 3 he's just crept into reasonable starting material level with a 1.2 VORP. When you say Cade is a surefire...

Cade realistically has about the same value as Vassell +/- a mid-late first rounder tbh. If he gets maxed he might have less value. Similar size, similar wingspan, trade Vassell's better defense for Cade's ability to handle a larger offensive load. Impact metrics at the same age about the same as...

I hit Vegas last year that thought it was pretty cool. I think it would be nice to go there with the full plan to see games all day. As it was, I watched only a few and was there for only those first two days. I fully intend to go back one of these years, but I want to hit up Utah or I guess this...

Thank God the InSanitus in Florida forgot about the Capitol Police so quickly. Oh, that was a picnic ? One can calmly greet those type of Cops with the barriers they set up as long as you only bust open doors and windows, and chase elected members of Congress around.

This is sort of what I was talking to Deeps about yesterday. Small-forward prospects who need to develop but can do some things well have a natural role on the team as the backup PF both Holland and Buzelis can play there to get up to NBA speed while they work on their shot. The team needs legit...

lol I keep seeing the Samanic comparisons and just don’t see it. Buzelis is way more refined as a player. I’m not sure of anyone in this class being a star but if I had to bet on it I would say Buzelis has the most tools to become all-star level player in this entire draft. I would take him...

Depends, there was a story where ORL brought Jabari for a workout and he was so bad in the ball handling part that they had to pivot to Banchero. There is barely any PNR tape with Castle you can probably have more in 1 workout than his whole college season.

Someone is trying to prop up Buzelis probably hoping someone else falls a slot or two. Earlier a poster was comparing Risacher and Buzelis. Those two are in two totally different zones. Risacher was an important part of his french playoff team, while Buzelis didn't make much of difference on a...

I smirk at the irony of this. Imagine Rockets fans' frustration with San Antonio's landing site in the Draft last year when they even won the coin toss. This year is nothing in comparison.

I could be dead wrong but I’m all the way out on Holland. He didn’t do all that great in the athletic testing for a player that is labeled as super athletic. I see low Basketball IQ player here. I’m not going to question his character but strictly basketball I think he could just be a bigger...

I think the competitive edge and aggression he plays with are plusses that overcome the lack of skill or feel. There are better options at 4, but I like the swing at 8 if he's there.

Just spitballing but could it be possible the spurs have enough of a scouting report on the G-League ignite guys that they don’t work them out. If you don’t like them no need to work them out. If you do like them you can keep your cards close to the vest and not show other teams you are...

23, 7.5, 4.5 at 22 fucking years old. How would I be in the minority thinking that guy can be an all-star? :lol Either way, no reason to keep arguing it because there is no way in hell the Pistons are trading their franchise player. "In the minority" GTFOH :lmao

i agree that i dont really see all star in risacher. he just seems like a fairly sure thing to be a good starter who plays a vital role for good teams. might not be a "defend the other team's best player and shut him down" type, but he's a willing and capable defender who knows how to play a...

I agree that due to his freakish athletic ability in the open court and hard-nosed defense, if he ever figures out that jump shot, we could look back in 10 years and wonder how everyone passed on him. He could also be a knucklehead who never figures out his jumper and we’ll mock whoever drafted him...

Never happens, for several reasons. NBA teams are really sour on Ignite players, having seen the duds. Buzelis has very few avenues to be picked in the top 4. In addition, if he were, there’s no way that Sheppard or Castle lasts to #8.
