i had initially wanted to control certain aspects of the game but... i say if you can't stop it it's on you. that's why i am trying to change my game to defend more of the paint at times instead of slacking off around the perimeter.

maybe if we do another league down the line and we organize this better we all can agree on certain aspects of the league we want changed but as of right now i am cool with everything even the dunk fests.

James can't be stopped in real life, so they made him that way in the game. Honestly, if you get good with direct button switching on defense (rb+a/b/x/y/LT), you can always have someone contesting shots at the rim.

Every team has a player that has advantages. Exploiting Lebron's points in the paint isn't justified with having Amare, Tim, Yao, Dwight Howard all in our league. Every team has players who have advantages. Play better defense its that plain and simple. yeah when he asked me in a text the other day i wasnt sure if they were hurt in games that didnt count that it would affect league games but I guess so....its a learning process...but Im still with it....makes it not so one sided and anyone can be fucked by the injury bug....I think it might be best to get them hurt early so you are healthy by the playoffs...lol i dont know man

I guess this should qualify as whining, but I win 70% of my games, in online ranked and my only losses come to people using the Cavs. Lebron is seriously unstoppable, I can live with him going 15-23 or something like that, but dude goes for 29-32 pretty much every time I have to go against him. Even in our league I have Garnett and Bogut/Horford clogging the paint and the guy just runs and flips up shots every time down the court and draws a foul or and1 lol. "We have added an addition to the online leagues for NBA 2K9 and NHL 2K9 to allow users to emulate the revered "Flex schedule" feature. For those who do not know what "Flex Schedule" is, it basically allows any game in a league to be played in any order.

The "Flex Schedule Que" addition will allow the same end result. The difference is each team has a "que" of games in which they can play. If a user wants to play a game in a different order then they simply move the game they wish to play into their "que". The limitations are each teams que can not exceed 5 games and must have at least 1 game in their que.

Commish's: To turn on "Flex Schedule Que" for your league

1. Login to 2ksports.com and goto your leagues home page.
2. Click "Admin" from your leagues menu system
3. Click "League Options"
4. You will see a button to turn on flex schedule que, click this button

Please note this feature can not be undone. So please consider carefully if you wish to enable this feature for your league

Yeah I think it was honestly fair to reset the injuries and lower the injury occurrences ... its more fun for the league first off, but secondly 2k has ALWAYS been bad about injuries. Your guys are constantly battling injury no matter how healthy their real life counter-parts are. I understand its a part of the game but in a simulated world, it should be kept to a realistic amount, especially in such a short (30 game) season.

yea that game was retarded, never played a game like that where i cant dribble or do moves and i do a simple step back and drose loses the ball with no one around him, 3 different times. its the sliders on the league, i checked them out and now there at 9 for ball handling? and the speed is like at 10 or something. everyone on the court running at a shaq pace, usually drose is flying, cant play like that

yea that game was retarded, never played a game like that where i cant dribble or do moves and i do a simple step back and drose loses the ball with no one around him, 3 different times. its the sliders on the league, i checked them out and now there at 9 for ball handling? and the speed is like at 10 or something. everyone on the court running at a shaq pace, usually drose is flying, cant play like that

eh, I'd agree that its very difficult to guard the triple threat. If you sag off an inch any decent three point shooter and someone who knows their timing will nail it 5 or 6 outta ten times. But I dunno if thats more game mechanics than 3pt success rate...

I havent read all the post but Im at work and kinda busy right now so heres a quick run down...the rest of you wont see an admin tab...you have to log on to the 2k site for our league with an email address and password...if you dont have a 2k9 account create one for the webpage. after that you will have to login to your account and edit your profile or account and in there you will find a spot to link your xbox live gamertag to your log on 2k9 league sports page...once you do that then you can go to the homepage for the league and find a tab that say my team and hover over it and a link will drop down and say "edit schedule" click on that and I would say leave atleast three games in there and leave two free spots for someone who wants to add a game to their list against you.....

lets say I want to add a game reguardless of what week or round its in against koriwhat and is flex que is full I wont be able to schedule that game....but if he has a free spot on his que I will be able to schedule a game against him...it doesnt set a date or a time its just whenever you see each other online you run it....I will tweek the setting for treys when I get home unless kori-dub can do it before then...cause I wont get out till 1000.

the main thing to do is to create a login for the 2k9 league page which will be an email address and password and then after that edit your account/profile and look for a link that will allow you to link your 2k9 league page account to your xboxlive account....I hope you guys understand this....and when you go to link your account to your gamer tag you will have to enter in the email address and password that is associated with your gamertag. Every game there's an injury. It's getting pretty ridiculous to have injuries when we don't have the luxury in having 15 players. Like I said before and say it again, I think injuries need to be off or toned down a lot. Just my opinion.
