i need to pick up my defense because shit's lacking hard core in the last week. i'm not getting burnt out or anything but i think my focus has shifted in the game and i am not climbing that defensive ladder any longer which is a damn shame.

oh and i'm about to break my damn controllers because they are fuckin' up on me so bad. last night i was playing my buddy lance at my house and while pushing the ball up the court all of a sudden my guy went running back to the half court and i had to throw and ill advised pass which led to a turnover. my buttons are getting stuck too and i am not able to pick my players in-game as easily any longer. i think spilling beer on my xbox and my controllers when i had this party a month ago is the culprit.

miller will see more time on the floor as a 2 possibly then a 1 on my team. or he might replace kidd as a starter(if i can work him in to the game) or ellis as a 2nd string point.

the whole game vs szumi the computer kept subbing my players out everytime he would call a timeout and i have my damn coach set to manual for everything. i don't get it. it started to do this bs when i played maddsurf for the 1st time. fuckin' bs screws me up cause then i am scrambling to sub my players back in and at times i have to run with players i don't want on the court until i get the time to sub the ones i do want back in.

our game speed has not changed from 57 since day 1. looking at the settings i see that i set our attribute settings for speed to 50 and not realizing that this would overwrite game speed i am sorry. it's a learning process. dannyt has set all attributes back to 100 though i figure some of those do need adjusting.

that's perfectly fine but to say the sliders are shit at 50% isn't fair coming from 2 people. i have 1 who says it's great, 2 who don't like them, and 1 who hasn't said a thing. it's not fair to say 50% all the way on the attributes is shit because not everyone has had a chance ballin' with those settings. i know 50% down the line isn't perfect and that's why adjustments are needed but 100% is straight crazy if you are trying to achieve realism in the game.

i saw the sliders at 100% without taking into account what the attributes were. speed was an attribute and i fully understand the outrage over the speed being reset to 50%. sorry! but i still don't think the speed needs to be at 100% and i don't think it needs to be at 50% but we do need to find the right median for realism.

I can see both of the points of extremely high fg% and high scores due to 8 min quarters....BUT it makes sense to me to make the sliders as close to default as possible seeing as when you play a ranked quick game you get the default settings. I dont think the sliders are going to do anything to level the playing field because if you can't make a three now you wont be any better off if we turn it down. If you're on fire now, well you'll prolly still shoot better than the guy who can't make a bucket............My point is, some people are better at the game than others...the sliders won't change that.

as far as high fg%......it would be nice to tone it down a little....for realism sake. Again, if it's harder for the best person to make a shot then it's also harder for the worst person.......

I personally think before changing sliders you need to ask for the members vote first. If you want to stop fast breaks then be more efficient in your offense instead of just jacking up 3's. Theres other ways around stopping teams from going " full blast" than just turning down the game speed.

i agree, cuz online when my shot is off its easy for the person to leak out on fast breaks, so when im off i go hard in the paint to stop there fast breaks. the blowouts could be from experience of playing the game, cuz i knw me and manu had a pretty close game, prolly cuz we play alot. i havent played a game with the settings u guys are talking about tho so i cant say anything bad about it.....

I'm not sure how the gamespeed was because I didn't play yesterday, but from the sounds of it from DannyT its more the likely I will not be in favor of the changes. I personally thought the sliders were fine before hand.

i agree i thought it was good and was kinda like a regular online game right. only thing that i would say is for the fatigue to be up a little more because my starting 5 can play the whole game and not even be a little tired. but that could be because i wanted my team to be young and fast so there fatigue would be better.....

i mean just play regular online games to get better, you will see different ways to do things and different ways to adjust so when it comes to the league games it wont be a problem. i knw i set up my D every time im on defense, right once they inbound the ball or rebound im selecting my D right away

alright alright..........everyone settle down. We all want to play 2k and have fun there is no point in bickering about sliders. IMO the sliders weren't half bad when we started......I played a game after they were adjusted, not bad but def took some getting used to.
