I think we've really been overachieving all year, and now with Young and Hamilton out it makes it that much harder for us. The fact is we aren't the Yankees with proven talent across the board these guys are young and still learning and we're not good enough yet to just steamroll over these "bad" teams at will. Its time to look torward next season. atleast now they have a little experience in what its like to be in a pennant race

I will say it would be insane if Boston didn't make the playoffs. Texas has a good shot, though. Their schedule looks good. But in your favor, Texas actually has a chance still to win the division. They've owned the Angels all year, and still have 6 games left against them. This season will end very interesting.

We have been kicking ass this year in double headers, so maybe this was a good thing haha. I was at the ballpark tonight. Needless to say, it didn't stop raining ever. It was a steady downpour and became ridiculously so after they announced it had been postponed.

This was the first postponed game I've been to. Had rain delays, but the game always ended up being played. The great thing is that it worked out even better this way, because I got to exchange my tickets for tickets to the game next Friday against the Angels. I call that an upgrade.


edit: btw, anyone else see how the Red Sox-Rays game was postponed? I swear, I think the fans of Boston rigged the rain clouds to come when they did. The Rays had the bases loaded with one out in the 1st inning when it got stopped. That sucks.
