I am completely happy that Pop finally got a clue and began playing the players that gave the Spurs the best chance to win.
It is all that we asked for. Pop complied. Pop finally saw the obvious and benched Blair and cut Bonners minutes. Pop woke up in time to save this season.
Who is complaining?
It was a Popsucker that bumped this thread. It was a Popsucker that bumped this thread the last time.
Let me spell it out for you again.
Everything that we were screaming for -for years- was finally done by Pop and holy shit- the spurs haven't lost since. Great coaching.

Exactly This, and what do you know, we almost lost the last game with Pop almost reverting back to Bonner ball in the 4th. Thank God, he finally put Diaw back in.

lol screaming for years.
You started this screaming thread last month and were screaming about Tim and Tiago not being paired together.
Have they really played that many minutes together to make you stop screaming, or are you pretending like Pop did what you said he should so you could squeeze your way onto the band wagon?
lol not one mention of Diaw in this non screaming post.

Pop was also using Bonner to intentionally foul. I doubt he's going to do that with Diaw when Diaw is in foul trouble.

It wasn't a meltdown-it was a lucky thread for the Spurs.
They haven't lost since. Pop changed and/or amended his ways.
Just say thanks and continue with your Cuck life. Is that so hard for you?
If Pop goes back to boneheaded coaching-I'll take a bullet and call him out again and the Spurs can go on another winning streak.

Since damn near everything the OP lamented about out in the thread was finally implemented in the next game by Pop I fail to see the irony. You Popsuckers should be heaping praises not hurling insults.
Unless,... are you instead implying that Pop should have instead kept the status quo? Which was Blair starting and Bonner being the first big off the bench? I guess that's the collective wisdom from the popsuckers. They'd rather save face by losing (and making more lame excuses later) than make the necessary changes and start winning.

THIS.
I guess it comes down to this;
Would you rather be right or would you rather the spurs win?
Popsuckers would rather be right and they were defending Pop's overplaying of Bonner and all the other stupid shit Pop was doing and now that Pop did what any reasonable person would have done-the Popsuckers hate it.
They prefer that the Spurs sink with Bonner playing 30 minutes just to say they were right.

Lol D-league expert-talk about oxymorons-
With an emphasis on MORONS!
On the serious side, if you called it, props. Got no problem acknowledging when someone was right. Got no problem eating shit if Pop continues to coach this way.
I call it as I see it.
The only agenda is a spurs title. If you believe a fan should NEVER question the coach, players, etc
then keep believing that. If you are offended because Pop was questioned maybe it it time to question why you are defensive when someone you don't even know is attacked.
That would probably be more productive than trying to flame others for not agreeing with every single thing your fave coach does or doesn't do.

I am not butthurt about anything. I called out Pop and what I believed (and has been proven to be the case) were stupid coaching decisions.
The lakers game was a reminder to everyone that what Pop was doing and what Pop had done against Memphis last season-was a big mistake.
I pointed out that even if the regular season was going swell-changes needed to be made.
Pop realized after the laker game that it was time for changes. He made them and they have worked beautifully.
Unfortunately, for you guys, Pop's changes are exactly what some of us had been screaming for. This fact seems to burn you guys to no end.

I was looking for a thread where I might have used the term oxymoron. This is a gem of a conversation from January.
When will you guys realize and accept the fact that just because YOU think the spurs need a big and just because YOU think the spurs are looking for one...
does not mean that Pop is looking for a big and does not mean that Pop will play a big.
Look at Pop's last three or four years of coaching....that will give you a clear answer.
This is funny.
No, it is factual.
Yes, it is true.
It's really quite funny if you think about it.
I don't expect you to think about it.
Facts are sometimes funny, I guess.

I know exactly what an oxymoron is and I don't believe the d league is a place where any experts reside. Like Jumbo and shrimp = OXYMORON.
I don't know where you get the impression that if I make a joke about terrorizing the neighborhood in a car that this is somehow a literal act. I guess you have an active imagination and a lack of understanding of humor and tongue in cheek remarks.
I also don't understand why you are under the impression that a Mustang is any worse (or better) than any other car. It is what it is and somehow you seem to feel that this is some kind of a burn.
Reminds me of the "calf-tats" threads where someone got offended that the "calf-tats" label was being thrown around. wgaf? Tats are tats are tats. What the fuck is the difference if they are on your ass or on your dik?
Why would anyone think this was some kind of insult? Why would someone take offense to it?

:lol TJastal and Silverblk owning in this thread. Funny how fools pretend to misinterpret what the main idea was, and that's that Pop was playing too much Bonner/Blair ball, we asked for Splitter because Splitter was riding the pine more than he should have and Bonner was known to stink it up in the Playoffs.
We wanted the "OLD" Pop back who focused on Defense and not over-used Bonner ball in the post-season, it was a Big issue (primarily Defensive driven Big), and a focus on D in general. Now, whether it be Diaw, Splitter, whatever, Pop DID make that change in the starting lineup, and it was the Lakers game that convinced him to finally make that change, regardless of the nonsensical banter going on here.
As far as I know, we all want the Spurs to win here, so it's funny how butthurt these morons actually are. For morons to come in here and act like Pop never made a change, or that the change is not what we asked for, are simply just fools and are obviously out to prove something else, because their ego's are hurt it appears.
He did make a change. It was for the better and it appears he is coaching like he used to during Championship runs, and that's what we asked for, at least I know that's what I wanted.
I'd like to see the morons criticize Timvp btw, because he has also in past seasons criticized Pop for Bonner ball, has said it doesn't seem like CIA Pop anymore, but rather WTF POP, in the past, etc. Even in of of these early playoff rounds he criticized Pop for not playing more Splitter with Tim in the reg season, and rightfully so. So have it. lol
Good thing is, Diaw is working out great, and Splitter is being utilized better, and success in these Playoffs has been great, and Bonners choke jobs haven't been able to harm us now, (although I do hope Bonner can catch fire soon). Pop looks to be back to how he "used" to be, let's hope it continues.
That Lakers beating the Spurs took was a blessing in disguise.
Thanks Pop for finally seeing the light.

:lol TJastal owning in this thread. Funny how fools pretend to misinterpret what the main idea was, and that's that Pop was playing too much Bonner ball, we asked for Splitter because Splitter was riding the pine more than he should have and Bonner was known to stink it up in the Playoffs.

Pop is the best coach in the league.
Your choices, were you the Spurs owner, would be to shut up about it or to fire Pop. If you fired Pop, his ass wouldn't hit his car seat before a limo was under him hauling his ass to a private jet to one of many different franchises dead set on acquiring him, and they would pay him more than he's making now and he would transform that organization. You would then be stuck interviewing Nate, Mike D and SVG.

Blair...6'7'' starting center ...
Being embarrassed by MIKE BROWN....MIKE FUCKIN' BROWN!
McRoberts posterizing Bonner....Pop pulls Bonner...Pop puts Bonner right back in...GENIUS!
No One on the Spurs with any desire...any fire...any balls...and Coach Pop didn't change anything...just kept the same rotation...the same everything....
This is what the Playoffs have in store...and this is exactly what happened last season...
Pop has had two seasons now with Splitter...and in two seasons...he has not been able to "find time" to try and integrate his only two players approaching 7 feet....this is the NBA where being tall is something that can't be taught...on top of that Splitter is not just some "serviceable' "blue collar" role player...he can actually be an asset by his mere presence on the court with his vision, passing, and basketball IQ...but fuckhead coach has pissed away two seasons....
This seasons playoffs are just about here and fuckhead coach is right on cue to get embarrassed again....

yes, yelling at an inferior squad will change everything...
We made a big mistake with Jefferson. Huge.
We corrected the mistake with Leonard, Jackson, and Diaw. And more importantly, we use the talent we have properly. You think motivating Blair to get tall on D is going to change things...? ok then. And Tiago clearly was not ready last season, he is still not totally ready this season.

Bonner played more than 30 minutes three times last year, and the Spurs were 2-1 in those games. He also played less than 25 minutes a game every single game in the playoffs in 11. What was that 30-35 minutes a game thing?
This year, Bonner, in a shorter season, played more than 30 minutes three times, with the Spurs going 2-1. In the playoffs, he played 8 to 20 minutes a game this year.
As for Splitter, who you were really hanging your hat on as a replacement for Bonner, he played 12.3mpg last year in the RS and 16.7mpg in the playoffs. He is playing 19 and 15.4mpg this year. Negligible difference, if any.
Who was going to start last year instead of Blair. It's obvious Splitter works best with Ginobili, and Blair could only work with Duncan. You want to start Bonner?
Pop didn't have Diaw, Leonard and Jackson last year, he does this year. There is a big difference.

Didn't seem like that great of a post to me. "Pop is a shitty coach because he plays one of his players that I don't like because I don't understand why he's being played".
Bonner can suck and it still helps the team because it forces one of OKC's bigs to play him on the perimeter which opens up the lanes which means more offense for everyone who gets into the paint. Bonner's defense is mediocre, yet from a statistical standpoint, this year our offense plays so well with him on the floor (regardless of whether he's hitting threes), that it has vastly outweighed what the defense gives up when he's on the floor (and ironically, it doesn't give up that much more either, barely more).
It's basically moneyball. Bonner helps the team more than just what stats he gets himself. You're essentially saying Pop is a shitty coach because he knows more than you and can look past his ignorance of a player and can understand that he does more than the average fan sees.
If you want proof, look here.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/SAS/2012.html
The Spurs don't give up any more points with Bonner out there than Diaw. We even give up more when Jackson's out there, a guy who's defense has been put on a pedestal this postseason by fans.
Of course, Diaw is statistically much better than Bonner at that spot this postseason. . .but he can't play 48 minutes. And he's getting a lot more time because he's better.
So really, what's the alternative to Bonner? Play Blair? The midget PF? People are gonna complain about him too. It's a lose lose situation. We don't have 4 excellent players to be playing at the PF/C positions. We have Duncan, Diaw, Splitter. . .and Bonner/Blair. Duncan, Diaw, and Splitter can't combine for all 96 minutes. They're gonna be tired as hell not only in those specific games but in the series.
In the end, Bonner and/or Blair must be played. Bonner gets played because at least during the season, his impact has been greater than Blair's (on both ends collectively), and because it takes one of Perkins/Ibaka out of the game figuratively or literally. Remember the so called experts bashing Scott Brooks for not playing Ibaka? Yeah, guess why he didn't? :rollin The whole time you were whining about it, it was keeping out Ibaka.
This is chess, not checkers son. Spurs have won 20 straight and you're bitching about our COTY being a bonehead for leading our old ass team that everyone wrote off years ago as too old and needing to blow the team up into prime position to get a 5th title under his reigns. lol, internet.
Now I see you aren't bitching anymore because we're up 2-0 on the Thunder. Your ass needs to stop acting so scared and be confident in the damn team and the coach. They haven't lost in a long ass time so stop bitching.

Personally I will remember this year fondly whether we win the whole thing or not. I got to finally see good TEAM basketball. You gotta be a hater not to like the Spurs play this season, win or not for me. Pop suddenly becoming a good or bad coach does not hinge ENTIRELY on whether we win the championship or not. We were not contenders last year. This year we are, win or lose, at least we have a chance.
And its pretty clear what you are hoping for: Spurs lose, Pop bad, see I told you so. That wont fly. Except for people who blow around randomly like dust based on events that happen every millisecond.

You have reading comprehension issues. Work on it.
I said: I am enjoying the wins. If the Spurs win a title it was a wonderful year.
I used to enjoy every season regardless of record. Since 2008 I have enjoyed it less largely in part because of Pop suddenly and without reason changing his ways and playing players he likes instead of the best players on the team.
This season Pop has gone back to playing the players that give you the best chance to win. I love this team. I am enjoying it-much more so after the loss to the lakers.
If Bonner was the best big on the Spurs roster--and Pop played him 48 minutes---I would support Bonner and the team. I criticize Pop when I feel that he is not coaching up to his abilities. If you think this makes me less of a fan so be it.
There have been seasons when the Spurs were fun to watch and I loved the team regardless of the record. There have been years where the Spurs under Pop did not win the title but I still loved the team and I still supported Pop.
In 2008,2009,2010 & 2011 this changed for me and the biggest reasons that it changed for me was what I thought attributed to a substandard job by Pop. In those seasons I began to hate watching the games due to Pop's mysterious antics. Pulling someone off the court when they were red hot. Keeping players on the court who obviously were done (Finley) and overplaying players who were getting destroyed (Bonner). The Bowen situation added to this agony. I started to hate coach Pop. I'll admit it.
This season (after the laker loss) Pop seems to care again. If you can't admit this then you are lying to yourself.
You can love him and defend him and support him all you want --it does not bother me--it is your right.
I can criticize him when he sucks and support him when he is at the top of his game and I don't give two shits what anyone thinks about that.
In 1973 I became a Spurs fan. In 2012 I am still a Spurs fan. Whether I am the type of fan you approve of or not is irrelevant.
If you read all of the above and decide to spin it a different way it wouldn't surprise me.

All the Popsuckers that scoffed and tried to ridicule me when I said that Pop is still the biggest obstacle to the Spurs winning a title....
what is the reasoning now?
Where is the Coach of the year?
Bonner still the first "big" off the bench...
No sight of a TD/Tiago pairing....

I'm not the one bumping it, tbh.
Pop made the changes, the rest is history. I love Pop now!
Title or nothing. Pop is a champion coach or just another chump coach who failed to win the title.
Every year is the same thing. No-one gets a 2nd place trophy. Finish this job Pop.
Simple.
Could you quantify what changes Pop made? You said he played Splitter more and Bonner less, and it's not really true. Splitter played slight more, and Bonner less. Those weren't really highly significant minutes.
You wanted less Blair, but who was supposed to be starting next to him last year? Splitter obviously wasn't ready, Blair couldn't play well without Duncan. This year, Blair played a lot less, but most of those minutes actually went to Diaw, Jackson and Kawhi, who weren't here last year.
You said the Spurs should concentrate more on defense, and yet offense is the Spurs calling card this year. The defense ramped up in the second half of the season, which happens every year. Pop saw the league changing, and adapted. It took the team a few years to transition, and when it did, the Spurs are looking great.
Pop went from a defense first (or even defense only) team to a largely offensive team. He went from 4 down to extremely complex and beautiful motion based offense. What do you want?
I just don't understand what you predicted to be right all along.

To each is own, but forget that mindset. If the Spurs don't win this year, I'll remember this year for the time the Spurs wasted Duncan's best shot at a 5th title.
This is not a "mindset" of a player. I am not on the team. Its a statement as a fan. I am not a player taking it a game at a time. I am fan looking at the entirety of what we HAVE witnessed.
I love good basketball.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this year.
The composure the Spurs have shown through all of this is miles ahead of the OP. If the Spurs lose tonight its not going to change like none of this ever happened. Ohhhh the wind has shifted, all that counts is the last game...
I would like 3 more for Duncan. ANd for right now, that is in the realm of possibility if we remain uninjured.
Who in God's name saw this coming... Its a giant X-mas present.

Of course Flabbs, TJastal, et al. run around spouting off at the mouth as if these things weren't true.
Please don't bring common sense into a festival of idiots. They don't tend to mix well.

The more appropriate question here is should Blair start in place of Diaw, and the answer is still no.
But can you perhaps lend Pop your crystal ball, ambchang? You're hindsight is impressive. 20/20 at least. Last night Splitter was essentially neutered by the refs. When you are not allowed to post up Derek Fisher 10 feet from the basket you might as well just throw in the towel. In last night's game I might have agreed in hindsight we should have seen more Blair in place of Splitter from the get-go. I really need to work on that whole hindsight thing.

Maybe.
This will be a shocker to the Popsuckers but here is my take;
Pop deserves a pass right now based on how he has coached since April 11th.
Pop will make the right adjustments and he won't go back to Bonner-ball. I actually never blamed Pop for this loss but I wasn't happy with overplaying Bonner--but it is just an aberration.
Pop gets a pass. Pop will return to championship level coaching the rest of this series.
This is finally the test we have been waiting for.
Prior to last nights game everyone here was actually thinking it would be easy and there was all this mutual respect and admiration of OKC players--kind of a mutual jerk off happening.
Today, people here are starting to hate Harden, getting a little angry and this is all good.
If you don't hate the OKC players a little after this series then it wasn't a very good series.
If Pop and/or Bonner aren't tested a little then the playoffs haven't actually started yet.
Now, we will begin to see if Pop will justify that COTY honor.
He will. He will realize what he has been doing since April 11th and he will re-adjust his Bonner love.

A few days ago the entire Spurs forum was fellating Coach "nasty" Pop. Now is the time for Pop to earn his check. Now is when Pop can show how warranted all the accolades are.
Any reasonable person (excluding Popsuckers) can see that Bonner is a cancer and I already had told all of you "experts" that Bonner needs to be buried on the pine if a title is the goal.
Which Pop finishes this series?
I sure hope it is not 2008-11 Pop.
Pop C-
First of all, playing Bonner was a mistake. Bonner is totally overwhelmed by the moment. With as well as Blair played, in hindsight Pop probably should have used him beginning in Game 3. I would also like to see better plays called when the bench unit is in the game. There has to be something in Pop's bag of tricks that is able to take advantage of a defense that is switching everything. Leonard also deserved more minutes and, perhaps most blatantly of all, Ginobili needs to play more than 25 minutes. That's an absurdly low number of minutes with so much on the line. Defensively, the Spurs have been horrible this series and Pop deserves a portion of that blame. On paper, Pop's defensive scheming was supposed to help the Spurs overcome the Thunder's brigade of talent. Thus far, that hasn't been the case. I don't think it's hyperbolic to suggest that Game 5 is the most important game of Pop's career, especially because he doesn't have a superstar version of Duncan to fall back on. Pop needs to make a number of difficult decisions regarding the rotation, continue to adjust the offensive sets to account for how OKC is defending, and figure out a defensive gameplan that gives the Spurs a fighting chance. Pop, the time is now to show why you are a future Hall of Famer.

Matt Bonner Inc.
Let's just say the Incomplete is being generous. When Matt Bonner entered the game, he immediately destroyed the team's momentum. Among his lowlights during his two minutes of play: an ugly pull-up jumper off of a pump fake that he never attempts, poor transition defense that resulted in a dunk, losing his man in a halfcourt set that resulted in a dunk, and failing to box out that resulted in a tip-in. It's been painfully obvious for years that Bonner lacks the intestinal fortitude to thrive in tense situations. Hopefully, Game 4 was the nail in the coffin for any stragglers who were left unconvinced ... Pop included.

I think "agreeing with everything Pop does" and "Recognizing the fact Popovich is the best possible coach San Antonio could have" are two different things.
Also, in game 4, Bonner played 2 minutes, albeit horrible minutes, afterwhich Pop recognized, took him out of the game and never put him back in. I really don't think the fact Bonner was in for 2 minutes is a big enough reason for SA's loss to discuss ad nauseum.
If you wanna discuss Popovich fuck ups, imo only playing Manu 25 minutes while Danny Green still starts and played 20 minutes is a much bigger fuck up given that Green struggled during the first 3 games while Manu won game 1 carrying them offensively while Parker sucked. Refusing to play Duncan and Splitter together to protect the paint is another fuck up I'd criticize WAY before playing Bonner for 2 minutes as oppose to 0 minutes.

That first half rotation will go down right next to that time Pop took Bowen out of the game in Game 1 of the 2008 WCF as his low point as a human.
I know it was only a short time but when Pop had Blair, Bonner and Neal on the court at the same time, my first response was "Season Over". I mean, damn, we literally were laughing earlier this season at how that threesome is the worst defensive threesome ever assembled.
And Pop is going to play those three together.
In the first quarter.
Of a must win game.
In the Western Conference Finals.
In their final shot to win a championship.
Maybe ever.
And he pulls out Turd Towers + Neal.

Daddy says you tried renting out my cabin in Crawford, Texas for you and Blake to have a butt party for tonight's game.
I say off limits. Last time you rented my cabin I wiretapped and bugged it and heard some weird moans every time Bonner attempted a 3.
Last time I heard moaning like that was when me and Laura watched a porno of waterboarding on "naughty night" at the White House.
Other interesting things overheard on my wiretap,
"I wonder if his hair is red down there like it is up there?" -Blake
"timvp criticized Pop, get the razors" -Chumpy
"hey pay attention to me and get off the computer for once in your life, you already have over 67,000 posts" -Blake
"post count smack lol" -Chumpy
"Come smack this, and I'll defend you later online" -Blake
I knew that goddamn wiretapping and infringing on Amurikans rights would end up hurting someone but I can see your logic now GW...:lmao

COTY....:lmao
Just another year, insert Scotti Brooks name, panic move after panic move, rinse and repeat.
I'm not the kinda guy who would say I told you so...but...
Let's call a spade a spade here-if anyone here can face some truth;
Pop would make a pretty good GM if he could step back and stop coaching he could concentrate on personnel moves, trades,etc...
A young coach with fire, discipline and talent is needed.
Just look at the last two years in terms of MOTIVATION;
Hollins: Pumping his team up with fire, encouragement, etc
Pop: "They are professionals. I don't have to say anything."
A year later:
Brooks: "I wasn't going to take Durant out of the game. He has it in him to play 48 minutes-no excuses."
Pop: "They are a better team." "It's a storybook ending for them and I am happy for them."
Sometimes it sucks when you are right. I was afraid of this.
Just like I said;
Can the Spurs win a title in spite of Pop?
Guess not.

I never really looked at this thread because the first time I did it was filled with homo nonsense and I thought it was about basketball. As I read it now, I know I'm not alone. No one says Pop isn't a good coach, but sometimes you need fire and passion when all else fails. Let'em work in the front office and call it a day. We're cool when we're much better than the team we face, but let us face someone as good as us and it's over! It's been that way since 2000!!!! Great regular seasons, win a title or get destroyed. It's just time for a change.

According to this guy (numerologist) it actually was Pop's fault that the Spurs lost;
"Chemistry trumps experience,” he says, explaining the Thunder's series win over the Spurs.
Another numerological issue for the Spurs' title hopes came in the form of Coach Gregg Popovich's birthday of Jan. 28. The total numerology (sum of the sum of a day’s total digits) of his birthday in the year 2012 is 7 (1+2+8+2+0+1+2=16, 1+6=7). Grinberg expressed back on Feb. 29 that 7 is a poor numerological number. He points to May's French presidential election as a form of evidence.
"The president of France, [Nicolas] Sarkozy lost the election," Grinberg says of France's former president, who also has a Jan. 28 birthday. "These guys were not capable of winning this year. Just by Coach Pop's birthday, I could tell there was no way they were going to win this year no matter how many games they won in a row."

2000 - the Spurs faced the Suns without Duncan
2001 - the Lakers lost 1 game, in overtime, during that playoffs. DA was injured too.
2002 - the Lakers were the favorites, it was closer than 4:1
2003 - the Lakers were 100% favorites, the Spurs won the title
2004 - the Lakers were the favorites, it went down to 0.4 for the pivotal g5
2005 - the Pistons were the favorites, they actually scored more point in the finals, but the Spurs won the title.
2006 - this one was on Pop, but the Mavs were solid opponents too
2007 - the Spurs were favorites, they won the title. The series vs the Suns was close, they had more talent than the Spurs.
2008 - the Lakers clearly had much talent, no shame there. The ousted the Hornets in 7 games, that one was close.
2009 - The Spurs were not going to win the series vs the Mavs without Manu.
2010 - The Spurs got swept by the Suns, Duncan wasn't moving well on defense, but its true Pop got out-coached. The Spurs won a close series vs the Mavs.
2011 - The Grizzlies were much better, front court and perimetral defense.
2012 - The Thunder had their big 3 in their prime, one of them top 2 player in the NBA, an elite wing defender, one of the best bigman rotations in the NBA. The Spurs had one top 10 player that season. It still went down to the refs that decided the last two games.
Phil Jax is better 7 additional titles say so, but Pop is damn good. The most recent season, the Spurs over-achieved with the WCF's, no one thought they were to get there.
This season, the Spurs lose both SF's and still win games. I don't think they should change Pop.
Maybe they could have tried with another coach after the 10 and 11 seasons, but the 12 season was solid, the FO should continue with Pop for this season too.

Look Young Jedi, things will never seem like they appear.
Things may not always seem like they appear, there is a bigger reason
as to why pop may do something
Bonner still the first "big" off the bench...
He helps stretch the defense and possibly hitting outside shots
No sight of a TD/Tiago pairing....
The duo works and pop is sparingly using it cause he doesn't
want teams figuring out how to stop this combo and splitter has
been inconsistent.
Blair...6'7'' starting center ...
Pound for pound Blair gives you better productivity over limited minutes
and there is not many choices off the bench.
Being embarrassed by MIKE BROWN....MIKE FUCKIN' BROWN!
Never seen this
McRoberts posterizing Bonner....Pop pulls Bonner...Pop puts Bonner right back in...GENIUS!
Bonner not know for amazing defense and again bonner stretches the defense
No One on the Spurs with any desire...any fire...any balls...and Coach Pop didn't change anything...just kept the same rotation...the same everything....
He may not of change it up at the time so the team can figure it out themselves, sometime players need to grow there basketball
IQ and live with there own desesion making.
This is what the Playoffs have in store...and this is exactly what happened last season...
Last season we ran out of gas against a young ball club with superior athletes and some talent.

The OP will only be remembered by his former McDonald's coworkers as the guy who had the telltale wet spot on the front of his pants after spending way too long in the bathroom.

The Spurs are the No. 2 seed, are leading the Lakers 2-0 in a playoff series, and do some people still think that "damage control" is needed?

Unless Pop haters can list one alternative for a coach they'd rather have, its not even worth hearing them out

Maybe just list the top 5 coaches in the NBA with reasoning behind each selection.

silverblk mystix (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=18982) Can I ask you a serious question? Why are you so angry? I don't think I've ever read a positive post from you. I'm honestly not trying to start another argument with you, but it seems like you have beef with everyone on this board, and I'm just curious as to why.

:lmao Really? Normally woulda passed this one up, but this shit is too hilarious right here considering you are the angriest poster alive on Spurstalk who for years always stalks everyone, following poster's around for a living day and night while the rest of the world is working and having a life, tbh lol.
If you just for the fuck of it add up the posts of the last 10 posters before you, and combine them all together, fuck it, throw my posts in there too..so make that 11 posters just on this last page alone..
SBM, even throw sorry ass cuck Blake's 23, 000 posts in there, Charlie Sheen, SpurNAustin, pgrdn, spurraider21, Spurs and Mavs fan, Homeland Security, Fabbs, armynick23, and myself SA210..that would equal 57,400 or so.
You would still have like 18,000 more posts than all of these 11 posters COMBINED. Shit, you can even throw in triple the amount of SBM's posts and add another 16,000 fake ones on top of even that just for fun, and you would still be in the lead by 3-4000 or more..lol
Chunky-Dumpster, I think it's safe to say we all know who is really trying too hard..
:rollin:rollin:lmao
The ownage continues..Let it burn, son..rofl

Truth bomb.
Be careful now SA210 - if you keep throwing out truth bombs like that - people will begin to ask you why YOU are so angry. Cummdummster is so angry and unhappy in his life that he does nothing but stalk people day and night with his little hatred from his shitty life.
I bet he has never left his computer once in 15 years.
