I really didn't like Reggie. He is awful at defense and for a shooter, he really didn't shoot well at all last year. He can shoot however ( had good % in th d'league). I thought they never intended to keep him unless he showed fire an He didn't, but then again, they kept Daye last year so... it ids ossible we see Reggie again. If he goes the Daye route and all of a sudden can't shoot, I see him getting waived. Unlike Anderson and Simmons, he is one dimensional and older thus unlikely to get any better.

yeah, if we are gonna have a one dimensional shooter might as well have the better one. We'll see if Eddie can get hot and have a signature game or continue to be consistent and force the hands of the front office. I doubt they want to let him get away.

Eddie is shooting 44% from the arc in Vegas. If he goes on one of his streaks, he could easily get some guaranteed camp money to see how he plays with the mothership.

I'd like them to at least keep the rights to Cady Lalanne as well.

Wonder what the hold up is for signing Leonard, West and Simmons?

If they go over the tax (which signing them would do) they'd get a smaller TE from Williams.

Thanks. So what would be the likely plan?

My guess is that they'll keep shopping and then eventually sign the other guys. Williams goes into camp with the team and might even hang around the roster until his guarantee date. At his salary, it won't be easy to find a match. Philly or Boston seem like the best partners.

They might also just want to bring Reggie into training camp as one of several prospects to consider. He might not be a frontrunner to win a roster spot, but the team always balloons to about 20 players for camp. Williams is as good of a camp body as any. Just waive him before his guarantee date and hes no different than any other potential invitee.
