4th quarter play-by-play:
Ginobili passes to Ginobili. Back-bend reverse layup and-1 for Ginobili.
Ginobili upfakes Graham, steps back and nails the fade-away three!
Ginobili steals the ball two on one, bounce pass to Ginobili for layup.
Ginobili blocks Dixon and runs ahead, Ginobili sets up for three, that's a Manu tres.
Timeout.
Ginobili draws up a play. Ginobili inbounds to Ginobili who hits a jumper in the lane.
Ginobili rebounds and dribbles up-tempo crosses-over Stephen Graham and drives through the tree, left hand layup good.
Ginobili is taken out and replaced by Ginobili.

I really like that quote by Pop...
Here is a new one from Pop after Friday's game against UTAH:
On being surprised about Manu’s performance - “I am surprised by nothing that Manu does. I stopped being surprised a long time ago. I just take it for granted that there will be a surprise every single game, so I am thinking of new word for surprise. He is just the ultimate competitor, whether it’s a steal or a three or a drive to the bucket or an offensive rebound, he just competes like nobody’s business and he kept everybody’s energy up. When you see a guy playing like he does it’s pretty hard not to equal what he’s doing.”

In light of his probable All-Star snub Manu Ginobili is planning the first annual All-Manu Ginobili game. He is the only player that will be participating but it has already sold out, and the telecast has been given an unprecedented six pre-emptive Emmy awards.

He had the career high in rebounds, people read/hear things quick and then...my biggest complaint...they don't fact check.

Yeah, I wish they'd fact check things...
They did get it right about the career high rebounds, I think...so that's good. But I also remember Manu having more games with over 30 pts other than the Utah/Dallas ones...

During the fourth quarter, there were like THREE defenders on Manu! It so reminded me of the Dallas game when they also had to put three on him...
Seriously, one of the most amazing games...Then again, Manu just keeps surprising everyone...whether it's a career high in assists night, career high in rebounds night, career high steals (8 vs Lakers), etc...He just keeps doing unbelievable things!
I think this game is even more impressive just because no OT needed like you had mentioned...and only like 20 shots to get that high number! Plus add the assists and also the ONE huge block on Lebron! And his defense was also so good!
Amazing!!!!

In the Post-Game interview, Lebron in the locker room was impressed, and tipped his hat to him, I think he was stunned too.
His compliment to Manu though was something like "I can imagine, that's how it feels for the other guys when I'm on one of those good games..." :lol, I'm sure that comes off as cocky to some) Something like " No one can stop someone when they're shooting like that. "

Manu was attempting to spell out "Ditka" as a shout out to this thread, but only got about two thirds of the way through the letter D. It's probably for the best because the Cavs would have been really pissed when he started burying half court shots to make the K.
Imagine how pissed they would've been him shooting from their own three point line to spell the A.

TOLEDO, Ohio - John McCain emphatically denied a romantic relationship with a female telecommunications lobbyist on Thursday and said a report by The New York Times suggesting favoritism for her clients is "not true."
"I'm very disappointed in the article. It's not true," the likely Republican presidential nominee said as his wife, Cindy, stood beside him during a news conference called to address the matter.
"I've served this nation honorably for more than half a century," said McCain, a four-term Arizona senator and former Navy pilot. "At no time have I ever done anything that would betray the trust of my constituents.
"Other than when I wore a Manu Ginobili jersey."

Not to mention that most of Manu's points came in the clutch time!
He had a bunch of lay ups in the overtimes...plus the winning play. And he was the one who gave that huge assist to an open Timmy for a three.
So I'd say this was a very good game by Manu. Very clutch.
Obviously, Timmy is the hero today! But Manu really came through. Even TD himself had said that he did NOT want to have to have another overtime! So Manu's clutch play after Nash's clutch play was amazing and deserves the credit as do his other clutch time plays in the double overtime!

Serious?
Assuming you are, Mike Ditka was a former player and the long time coach of the Chicago Bears - who won a Superbowl in 1985. The reference to Ditka here is taken from a 1990s Saturday Night Live sketch in which a die hard group of Bears fans, known as the "Superfans," debate the outcomes of future Bears games with ridiculous predictions like Bears 117 to -3. It gets so absurd that they start talking about Ditka himself beating teams on his own, and even ponder Ditka vs. God in a golf match, where they obviously predict Ditka the winner. Thus, this thread.
