Yea i really like his solo cd. I think he and his entire band are insanely good muscians. Mathews himself is a GREAT lyricist and song writer, as well as one of the better guitar players around.
Listen to his live at lutheran college cd, just duo of guitars and vocals, and is one of the best live albums i own.
I personally think the are top notch, but its probably not for everyone.

I have a bootleg of Noel wanting to fight a guy in the crowd who is wearing a cowboy hat. I guess the guy is heckling them and he gets pissed after every song. It's from Dallas 1995, its really funny.
I also have one of Noel doing a acoustic version of Wonderwall and he gets pissed when the crowd sings over him so he says "Do you you'all mind If I sign my fucking song?" then switches to Married with Children to piss the off.

The best story of Liam is one of these:
-When he stayed up for 3 days straight then blew off MTV Unplugged becuase he didn't like doing acoustic (real reason), but said he has a sore throat. At the show he was in the sky box above the stage drinking and smoking and heckling his brother below.
-When a guy on a bike cut him off while he was driving. He drove his Benz up next to the guy, grabbed him by the neck and drove his car up to 35mph with his hand out the window around the guys neck.
-When he totally blew off the 1997 US Tour at the last minute becuase he wanted to go house shopping. His quote "How in the bloody hell and I supposed to find a house when I have to go to America and sing to silly Yanks?"

Haha, well thats more Noel who fought with Blur. He wished he would contract AIDs and die.
He said of Keane (a band of a keyboard player, singer and a drummer: "Traditionally speaking, the 3 biggest twats in any band are the singer, keyboard player and drummer. I don't need to say anything else"
Maroon 5, who consider them one of their biggest influences were so stoked about playing with them at the V-Festival in 2005. They decided to honor Oasis by playing "Hello" (which is also on Maroon 5 live album which they put out a month after the festival). When asked about the tribute Noel said this: "Maroon 5? eh, I think their music is pretty garbage if you ask me. To tell you the truth, if we were told we had to share the stage with them as headlinders, I don't much think we would have even come here in the first place"

Sometimes I feel like I'm falling
Fall back again, fall back again,
Fall back again, fall back again
Oh, life it seems a struggle between
What we see, what we do
I'm not going to change my ways
Just to please you, or appease you
Inside a crowd, five billion proud
Willing to punch it out
Right, wrong, weak, strong
Ashes to ashes, all fall down
Look around about this roundabout
This merry-go-round and round
If at all God's gaze upon us falls
It's with a mischievous grin, look at him
Forget about the reasons and
The treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that
Our emotions can be kept at bay
Forget about being guilty,
We are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
Look at me in my fancy car
And my bank account
Oh, how I wish I could take it all down
Into my grave, I'd save and save
Take a look again, take a look again,
Take a look again at things you have collected
In the end it all ties up so tall
To one big nothing, one big nothing at all
Forget about the reasons and
The treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be
Swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
You seek up an emotion
And our cup is overflowing
You seek up an emotion,
Sometimes your well is dry
You're looking for a monster
For him to fight your wars for you
But when he finds his way to you,
The devil's not going ha, ha.. ha ha
Say, say
Late at night with TV's hungry child
His belly swells
Oh, for a price of a coke or a smoke
I could keep alive those hungry eyes
Take a look again, take a look again
Every day things change, but basically they stay the same
Forget about the reasons and
The treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be
Swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
You seek up an emotion
And our cup is overflowing
You seek up an emotion,
Sometimes your well is dry
You seek up a big monster
For him to fight your wars for you
But when he finds his way to you,
The devil's not going ha, ha.. ha ha
Fall back again, fall back again
Fall back again, fall back again

Damn straight they are. I got this album and Sam's Town about the same time, and liked this one a bit more. Although Sam's Town has grown on me a bit.

I didn't like Sam's Town when I first heard it, but I think it's a pretty damn good disc.

I know. For some reason, that album was just really hard to get into. I really didn't start liking the songs until around the third or fourth time. I really like the tracks Sam's Town and For Reason's Unknown Now I think it's one of the top of the year. Go figure. Somehow an overrated band become underrated in the span of one album.

If you like the "Queen-vibe" that the title track has, you should check out Spilt Milk from Jellyfish if you haven't already. Spilt Milk is an awesome album from start to finish.

Did they charge you at the apple store when you took it in? Did you have to make an appointment?

Ok, that's a bit weird. Haven't heard of that error. You checked the Apple forums? Usually someone somewhere has had some error. Restore is probably your best bet, short of taking it to the Apple store. Sucks dude.

And the "genius bar" sucks ass. All they do is try and restore it, which you can do easily. Hope they can fix your problem
