Yup, was listening to it last night. That's a great little cd, I like it a lot. My only nit-pick with some of tracks are the choruses, ye gods those are simple choruses! But, they're kinda fun, easy to sing a long to.

I'm using Cucusoft, it's be alright for me, haven't felt the need to switch.
Cucusoft has one for converting video to mp4 or h.264 and another program for ripping dvds. Only used the dvd ripping program once, but I use the video converter pretty frequently.

I'm not too sure about this year's lineup other than Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam was enough for me to go, but I don't really know any of the other bands. I like Modest Mouse, Black Keys, and Pete Yorn is alright, but I'm not too sure about it other than that. Do you see any on there that are really good that I may have not heard of?

The Fratellis are sweet. Thats the thing about Lolla that is cool, if you look at last year's lineup it looks 100x better becuase over the last year a ton of bands got huge after playing there. The same will go for this year. I bet the lineup looks so much better a couple months from now. But like I said, I'm there for Pearl Jam, anything else is icing on the cake

Oh yeah here is who I saw
Friday
The Rapture
Against Me
G. Love and the Special Sauce
LCD Soundsystem (awesome)
Back Keys (Top 3 of weekend)
M.I.A.
Ben Harper
I really liked The Black Keys. I always wanted to see them becuase they were from near my hometown in Ohio, they were really good. Ben Harper was awesome. I didn't know much of his stuff, but I really liked what I heard. Eddie Vedder came out to do Bob Dylan's Masters of War. It was very well done. LCD Soundsytem was really good. They are like a dance band, but I really enjoyed their songs.
Saturday
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Regina Spektor
Steven Marley
Snow Patrol
Spoon
Muse
Little of Interpol
I went late of Saturday because my sister had to work and my friends went to the Cubs game so I missed a couple bands I wanted to see. I didn't enjoy Saturday too much untill about 9 P.M. when I was fully intoxicated. It was raining a little and plus I was dragged around to bands I didn't really care to see (Snow Partol, Regina Spektor). I thought Spoon was good, and they played by where Muse was going to be so I went and saw them. I thought I liked Muse untill I read about them. I always heard they are one of the best live bands you can see, and I sort of see how some people might say that, but I ended up leaving about 1/3 of the way through to try to catch some Interpol. Muse just isn't my thing. I don't get their lyrics abour atheism and the end of the world, plus they just come out and do their show without saying a word to the crowd. I was really bored with the whole thing. Put Interpol was good.
Sunday
Dax Riggs (hands down the worst band at Lollapalooza)
Lupe Fiasco
Kings of Leon (Top 3)
My Morning Jacket
Pearl Jam
Alright, so on Sunday I decided to go all out Pearl Jam Superfan becuase a) I really like Pearl Jam and I thought this was my only chance to see them as close as I wanted to ever again b) I couldn't sleep on the most uncomfortable couch in Chicago any longer. So I went down to Grant Park around 10 A.M. and waited the hour till they opned to gates with about 4000 others. Once I got in I just went to the Att stage where PJ was set to play at 8 P.M. It was a long day becuase of the heat and humidity. It was about 90 and 70% humidity (I'm just guessing). They really tested how loyal Pearl Jam fans would be by sending out one of the worst bands to ever plug gutairs into amps-Dex Riggs. To tell you how bad they were: I was listening to songs on my Ipod while I was standing in the 2nd row of a rock concert. Lupe was very good. I'm not much for rap, but he was a good entertainer. By this time, it was about as hot as it was going to get, and since the bigger bands were coming up people were comming and trying to squeeze in. I met some guys from New York, and we held down the fort so we could be 2nd row for PJ. Kings of Leon were next and were awesome. I never listened to them before, but got 2 of their CD's to listen to on my ride home to Ohio. I really liked them. My Morning Jacket was great too. They had the Chicago Youth Symphony out to play with them and it was amazing. Like KOL, I never listed to these guys before, but really liked their stuff. Next was PJ. After waiting in the heat, passing up lunch/dinner, and holidng "it" since 11 Am, they finally came out. It was awesome. Their was fireworks behind the stage while they played Even Flow which was really awesome to see. They finished with Rocking in the Free World where they brought up a bunch of random fans and people (one was a soldier from the war in a wheelchair and his family) onstage to dance and sing with them. It was one of the most amazing things I've seen and a great way to close out a great weekend. At the end of the show, Eddie was lifted up on Dennis Rodman's shoulders as he waved to the crowd (Dennis and Lance Armstrong were some of the people on the stage). So at the end there was the band and 20-25 lucky fans who came up to rock out with the band. I suggest you find the Att feed on Youtube, it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

I had to buy some headphones cuz my last pair got jacked; so I did some research and this company kept coming up as having the best headphones. A small company out of New York, and they are a major improvement; pretty damn unreal how good they sound for the price. Only thing is they are fricking ugly, ah well. If you're in the market for a new pair, highly recommended.

I download the bootlegs and listen to the version and decide if it is keepable. I have gone through about every Pearl Jam bootleg since they started doing them in 2000. I keep rare songs, good preformaces of songs, covers, concerts I've been to, and special guest collaborations. I started doing it in college becuase I like Pearl Jam, but I found that I LOVE live Pearl Jam. I'm the type of person who always thinks I am missing the best version of something, or that my collection isn't what it should be, so I went a bit overboard a couple years ago. Now I have about 1100 live Pearl Jam songs on my computer, all catigorized, all labled, everything. It's sick, but atleast I can manage to have a very good social life.
If your wondering, the best version done of that song IMO so far is Milan 2006. It could have been done better before 2000, but it's hard to say since there isn't any official bootlegs to listen to. Plus, Mike started to play longer during the solo towards 2000. I'll post it on here later tonight when I get home if you want it.

I love her voice. I like Raine Maida's from Our Lady Peace because he lists her as him #1 influence and you can sorta tell from their earlier work. Their later stuff sucks though, but he still have a good voice.
Actually I saw you liked Massive Attack too, I'll post a live version he did of their song Teardrop. It's an awesome live cover, and even if you don't like OLP, the cover is awesome stuff. I'll post it when I get home from work

Broken Chords Can Sing A Little-A Silver Mount Zion
I just found out about this band a couple of weeks ago, side project of Godspeed you Black Emporer, just absolutely some of the most beautiful music ever made. Any fans of stuff like Mogwai or Sigur Ros, really ambient stuff, should check out their earlier cds

Yeah, I mean Gravity pretty much sucked IMO with the exception of a song or 2. I liked them because they were not mainstream, but they made an album with the main goal of making them mainstream. I don't like that, it makes me angry :devil

There are no vocals, just a bunch of string arrangments and different instruments coming in and out, mood music at its best. Check out either Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward or He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corners Of Our Rooms, both ablolutely amazing and beautiful albums. And I dont know if you ever listin to Godspeed You Black Emporer, but if not check out their album Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven, amazing. You can check out snippets of both bands on Amazon
