The touch is pretty kick ass and they just released a 32 gig touch. You can even browse the net with its wifi. I say go with a touch.

So how was 3EB?

They were alright. I mean they have like every cliche rock band saying down and that really makes it feel lame. They were like "we fucking love you guys man" "there is no place we would rather be than with you guys, you guys are everything" --then they started backing Obama and telling us how great he is, like we were waiting to decide on who we would vote for until we heard what a washed up band from 98 had to say about it. Also, they broke into a bunch of gutair solos and bass/drum solos out of nowhere (I guess someone told them that 3EB was know for their musical content). Plus, it annoyed me that there were a bunch of guys acting like the show was so amazing and they were some deep amazing band. It was funny to hear a long intro to a song that turns out to be Semi Charmed Life, like he thought it was such a deep song lyrically that it needed explained so it would enrich out lives..

I'm a 100% rock snob and the little shit will piss me off. They played all the songs I wanted to hear, but they-and their crowd- are douche bags. I'm glad I went but it's safe to say I will never see them again.

My touch pretty much has only songs I really like. For example, I really like Arcade Fire because some of their songs are freaking insanely good; but they have some songs that I can get in to. So I just put the ones I like on the touch. Plus, my classic had like 20 live versions of Pearl Jam's Black on it, the touch will only get maybe the top 4 or 5. It was fun to see what made the list because I kinda felt bad leaving some of the stuff off- for example I decided to leave all U2 off my Touch because when I have it on shuffle I normally just hit next when their songs come on, and it's not because I dislike U2 because I actually really like them, but I haven't been in a U2 mood in about 2 years. I'm pretty excited about this summer though, 2 Pearl Jam dates with one of my favorite bands (KOL) and Radiohead is headlining Lollapalooza AND playing in Cleveland. Life is good

Not sure man, I dont have a shuffle. I assume you can't make playlists because it doesnt have a interface. I only have a 80 gig video, and 8 gig nano and know you can just make a playlist with those.

I have the 80 gig video also. I never thought of creating a playlist lol. I just fill it with songs and I haven't messed with it too much to be honest.

I had to do that with all my weird holiday music.exactly. just goto View and Show Browser. select your genre. go into the main window and Select All. Right Click the highlighted area and select Get Info. Select Skip when Shuffling.

I literally bought it, put a case on it, adjusted the clock and loaded it with songs. I should probably check out the intruction manual. :lol

With the 80 gig vid you can even make the "On the Go" playlist on your ipod and then save it, then connect to itunes and rename the playlist. Thats what I do and then just manually add songs after the fact with Itunes.

Yeah I think I was referring to the Live version I had- I'm not really a fan of Kings of Leon's new album- but Crawl is a fairly decent song. The live version is awesome because it's not over produced like the album version
