Nouvelle Vague "Too Drunk To Fuck" :lol

Which, by the way, is a remake of the Dead Kennedys version.Thank you for posting this!

I kept hearing Nouvelle Vague a couple of years ago and meant to get some of their stuff, but then completely forgot about it. Their version of The Clash's "Guns of Brixton" is awesome.

I never heard of them. On iTunes, I'll check out the "Listeners who bought blah blah blah also bought...", or their recommendations for me. I also check out people's playlists. I found some great songs that I would have never known about because of them being such obscure bands. That's how I found Nouvelle Vague!

And on that note:

Aimee Mann--iTunes original of Voices Carry (which is great!)

Man I have really fallen off new music since I have been working on my laptop but I have listened to the Silversun Pickups album and it's really good. I don't know the names of the songs but it's a good one. Other than that all I have been listening to is Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam, Radiohead and The Black Keys. The Black Keys are awesome, they sorta have a White Stripes sound, and they are friends with my sister. They are from Akron which is about 5 miles from where I grew up. Thier songs are on the HP Shaun White commerical and the Lee Jeans commerical that currently running, so it's sorta cool to see them make it big.

Oh I didn't know you didn't like Silversun... but just type in Black Keys on google and their myspace should be right there. They are not too big here, but they are big in Europe. They opened for Radiohead during the 2006 US tour.
