CARES Act is a sham too. But at least every day people got a percentage of that money.
Also@ Great Recession. So lame.

Yeah not starting any re ed wars is something Trump definitely gets credit for but that’s a pretty low bar. I’d give him a lot more credit if he didn’t increase the defense budget. In the end he couldn’t stop himself from going with the same vanilla Republican rhetoric about how “The Democrats want to cut defense spending and leave us weak, I’m increasing it!”
Bush/Obama levelled this up, but Trump puts them both in the shade.

It's one of his greatest attributes, tbh. Loved it when Bill had that approach and love it now under Trump. W is the only guy in my lifetime who thought getting bogged down in costly quagmires was a grand idea.
Uh? Pedo willy bombed yugoslavia to the middle ages.
Wake me up when Trump bombs a country to the middle ages... tbqh
Trump so far is the first president since Carter NOT to invade/bomb a country to the ground
The CARES Act and and ARRA were both a joke, no argument from me there. To your point, at least the CARES Act sent money to working class Americans. The ARRA was pulled from the playbook of bail out the rich and hope it trickles down to the poor. Gold plated socialism for the rich, bootstrap capitalism for everyone else.
Regarding Great Recession - That’s what it’s called. Sorry if you’re offended by the name that’s been given to GWB’s recession.
Yea, I'm aware that the media made up a lame name to paint black president as a hero as Americans battled Bill Clinton's catastrophe.
Sidenote -
Trump had +4 approval rating in the Rasmussen poll released Monday and taken before the start of the convention.
In the Rasmussen poll released today and taken over the past three days, his approval rating is -6.
This poll admittedly doesn’t factor in his speech from last night so the jury is still out, buthis Rasmussen approval rating swinging -10 points over the first three days of the RNC convention.
Chumpettes don't have to worry about all those brown people dying. They're going to save the planet from global warming.
Trump ramped up the bombing everywhere, but you're right that he hasn't started any new wars yet.

Dat magic wand is a tough compe or.
Sooo Bush had 8 years to correct "Clinton's catastrophe" but couldn't do it?
Your stupid theme about Democrats being incompetent only works if Republican president is incompetent too. Self-pwn
Too busy golfing.
It's mind numbing that a speech can sway a voter. Has anyone paid attention to the past 4 years?
Is this the part where I'm supposed to defend Bush?
It was Clinton's blunder.
It is what it is.
People who need speeches and debates to swing their vote are re s who religiously watch American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. There's no logical reason for how someone is still undecided, the differences between the candidates are abundantly clear at this point.
There's this myth in America that people who still haven't decided are this deeply intellectual group who like to thoroughly review all the facts before determining who to vote for. In reality they're people who never read or watch the news.
It didn't include the speech. But if you believe Trump went down 10 points while Democrats ravaged another town, I have a bridge to sell you.
Plenty of heads-in-the-sand conservatives who have done their best to ignore politics for 4 years may be seeing their president speak for the first time in a long time this week, and if their intelligence is still capable of being insulted that's a credit to them.
Targeted. Didn’t get involved in a war. Trump same thing.
If you want to have a serious conversation about the cause of the financial crisis - it all started when Reagan replaced Volcker with the Ayn Rand nutcase Alan Greenspan as Chairman of the Fed. Greenspan was architect of lending cheap money to the banks and allowing them to run wild with it. He's the primary culprit, more so than any president or other politician was leading up to the crisis.
Clinton shoulder's blame for reappointing Greenspan as Fed Chairman. GWB also reappointed Greenspan (and replaced him with a Greenspan clone after he retired), but also ramped it up a lot more.
During Clinton's presidency median (inflation adjusted) home price went from $180,400.04 to $205,981.40 (inflation adjusted CAGR of 1.7%).
In Bush's first 6 years in office, it went from $205,981.40 to $272,466.21 (inflation adjusted CAGR of 4.8%), before starting to collapse in 2007.
The difference is even more pronounced when you consider that income levels increased during Clinton's term and decreased during Bush's term. Housing values increasing by 4.8% above inflation when income levels and buying power were decreasing and not even keeping up with inflation was a much bigger red flag than anything occurring under Clinton. It was also Bush's SEC that got bullied by the large investment banks in 2004 to stop enforcing a rule that limited how much leverage the investment banks were allowed to take on. That really opened up the spigot of reckless mortgage risk taking (Trump has already rolled back a lot of the leverage limitations that were implemented through Dodd-Frank).
Derp says my wife wears men’s pants
