Not an argument, just a fact. In 3.5 years Trump has gifted us double digit unemployment and widespread race riots.
When unemployment was at a historically low level the excuse from the left was that they were jobs. Because of the virus and the increase in unemployment because of the lockdown that was insisted upon now it's Trump costing Americans jobs. They can't have it both ways.

They'd make good brothels with all the rooms
Good point tbh. In 5 years when there's millions of women in the country who need to sell themselves in order to survive, they'll need a place to do their business.

    Economy of the future.

I'm not having it both ways. It was a ty economy pre-COVID and it's an even worse economy now. Bad jobs > no jobs.

    I don't see the contradiction.

TheCDC eviction moratorium kicks the can down the road. It also kicks landlords in the nuts.

I hope it holds up, I'm quinting hard at the quarantine power to see the legal authority for the moratorium and the taking. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/42/264)

I don't think it's legal, but for the sake of people, I also do hope it holds.

Ultimately I'm pinning this one on Congress.

I wonder what Trump thinks of the present, as an international real-estate developer and as the most powerful public official in the world.

I think you missed the context. The victims in this case (CDC eviction moratorium) are landlords. You'd see them all deprived of payment by Trump without any assistance or compensation?

To be forced to carry their deadbeat tenants?

Of all people, I thought you would be a property protector. Smdh.

United Airlines with another big number — 16,370 jobs.

The company will lay off 16,370 of 36,000 workers who received “warn notices” in July.

The layoffs represent about 16% of United’s nearly 100,000-strong workforce prior to the onset of COVID-19, and become effective October 1.
