Imo they can get one solid climate change spending bill done through budget reconciliation and if it’s written correctly a public option can be done through budget reconciliation. If those are the 2 budget reconciliation bills they get done before 2022, it actually gives low propensity Dems a reason to show up for midterms.

Quite frankly we need to resurrect earmark spending. It’s annoying but it’s also the only way Dems can get senators elected in red states. Without earmarks people vote on senators in a more or less parliamentary way.
