Yes I hope they do. Fascism has been put in place by the trump team and was a big hit among maga people

By tomorrow we’re gonna hope he didn’t go out and suicided by cop tbh
But does it hurt that you have to go back into the closet?![]()
I told you guys in October Dems would sweep this round.
They'd still only be able to pass one legislative bill a year on their own through reconciliation. So I hope they see if they can get the check increases to overcome the filibuster and if not fold them into one comprehensive COVID relief plus hopefully infrastructure bill.
The covid relief bill is gonna be overloaded with pork.
Imo they can get one solid climate change spending bill done through budget reconciliation and if it’s written correctly a public option can be done through budget reconciliation. If those are the 2 budget reconciliation bills they get done before 2022, it actually gives low propensity Dems a reason to show up for midterms.
Stephen Breyer better step down on January 21 now that he knows he can be replaced by a Democrat.
Maine, West Virginia, Alaska and Utah are gonna be getting all kinds of pork over the next 2 yrs because of one of the senators in each of those states![]()
Trump went into office with majorities in hse and senate
took a treasonous on democracy and left the GOP cult in shambles
winning!
Hopefully for non- hole states now after Kentucky has received so much with McConnell leading the senate.
Hopefully you don’t consider Maine and West Virginia hole states (spoiler alert, they are)
Quite frankly we need to resurrect earmark spending. It’s annoying but it’s also the only way Dems can get senators elected in red states. Without earmarks people vote on senators in a more or less parliamentary way. The only way that head Ben Nelson was so popular in Nebraska was because of the welfare he continued to deliver for cornhuskers.
That $2000 check y'all so desperately wanted is gonna cost you out the ass in the long run.

The election of the two Democratic candidates could pave the way to the approval of more fiscal stimulus in Washington. This dollar’s weakness is likely to continue well into 2021 as investors shift to risky assets. In 2020, the greenback lost around 7%.
For the 80% of Murica living paycheck to paycheck, they couldn’t give two s about this. They rightfully view the national debt / long term currency value as a rich people problem.
The idea that you want to help poor people by cramming more austerity down their throat is hilarious though
I'm OK with you getting your $2000 check. Just pointing out that isn't going to be free like you think. Considering more than half the we buy doesn't come from the US the dollar losing value is great for multinational corporations and sucks for poor consumers.
I don’t qualify for a check.
The Trump tax cut wasn’t free either, but you’re fine with that adding to the deficit. I simply don’t buy it that conservatives suddenly care about fiscal responsibility when their last 2 presidents used the government credit card like drunken sailors.
Who the cares? Even if you gave them to every American from newborn babies to people on death row it still wouldn't cost nearly as much as Trump's tax cuts for the rich. LOL now the right gives a about the deficit again.![]()
another 4 years of
muh deficits
from conservatives after Trump (and his buddies in the senate, let’s not act like he was the only Republican who was in favor of deficit spending) was the worst deficit spender in since WWII.
You could give $4000 checks to every single American and also to their dogs and cats still come significantly under the cost of Trump's tax blowjob.
you mean the ones with the tiky torches?
removing anti-trust laws, deregulations, cutting taxes for the rich is what was bad for the average american. The bottom 42% have actually seen their wealth reduced corrected for inflation since 1982, that's pretty much half the country, while the richest have seen more than 1000% increase. Let's remind people that before Reagan, the debt was at 30% of GDP
Rattled by tiki torches from Home Depot
he doesn’t give one about the deficit. The people that think for him have fully pivoted to that talking point.
I'm just pointing out the obvious. I'm getting close to the end of my earning years so a big tax increase won't hurt too bad. Gonna suck for you, though.
Where this whole tax increase meme comes from? The topic at hand is deficit spending.
