increasing deficit to pay for programs that will help a lot of people is good
increasing deficits to pad the pockets of the wealthy is bad
Here we go again
blue team increases the deficit is great (BBB)
red team increases the deficit is bad (TCJA)
i say neither party is fiscally responsible.
increasing deficit to pay for programs that will help a lot of people is good
increasing deficits to pad the pockets of the wealthy is bad
like a bunch of wealthy aren't gonna make bank on the BBB. LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAO
You still haven't figured out how this works?
i didnt say the benefits are exclusive to the non-wealthy. but will be more equitable than the TCJA by a country mile
and like Will, i would have wanted tax hikes as part of the BBB to finance it. and while i do believe Trump's targeting SALT was basically out of spite to blue states (there were better ways to deal with deductions), i think lifting the cap was a pretty stupid move right now
BBB increases the deficit by $400 billion (potentially less if Yellen's modeling is right)
TCJA increases the deficit by $1.9 trillion
Wonder why you're trying to both sides this and pretend they're the same thing.

Plenty will, but the right wing money / lobbying machine has mobilized to try and stop BBB, so it clearly has stuff they don't like.
Honest both sides-er CC is still calling BBB a $5T bill
a non-trivial portion of that goes to five military contractors![]()

you say both sides, but you still haven't called out Trump personally at any time.
you just say "both sides" then call Brandon a Bolshevik for deficit spending that's a fraction of Trump's, dollarwise.
The gimmick is the programs they put in place theoretically "end" in few years, which never happens. Its 5 trillion for ten years when they dont end.
Rob Wittman voted against the infrastructure bill

Manchin gets his reward from Republicans for fighting against Biden agenda
the Coalition to Protect American Workers,
a Republican group led by Marc Short, former Vice President Mike Pence’s former chief of staff, is
spending in the large six figures on an ad campaign to thank Manchin for fighting against President Joe Biden’s economic agenda.
the Coalition to “Protect” American Workers means the Republican mega-donors, not West Virginians.
And by “fighting” they mean stopping this economic and climate agenda that will help people and maybe save the globe.

It has Biden legacy and possible boost in approval. They like the WH better, 4 years of favors beats one paycheck.
$7.7T defense bill passes.
How will we pay for it?

"both sides" lazy thinking fail.
smh
Infrastructure maintenance never ends. Not sure if you were aware.
Boutons II talking to himself again.
yep, classic false equivalence, leaving out the actual reasons why either party increases the debt.
Same with filibuster, RWNJs claiming the Dems love the filibuster when they are the minority, but what exactly from the Repugs have the Dems filibustered? Compared with what Repugs are filibustering?
... pocketing $10Ms in PProtectionP, they still fired 100Ks. fraud
DMC - "both sides"
Forum left -no
Forum left now "both sides"
Child Tax Credit, BBB, voting rights and college loan forbearance are all swirling the drain
...
Yep. Manchin taking a big greasy on you.![]()
Politicians lie?
Shocker.
Hardly, but barely a peep from Brandon backers here that the Brandon agenda is mostly DOA.
Knew it would happen when they couldn't get the senate to at least 51.
