All I can say is.

Wow. Amazing.

I'm torn on whether to bring back Joker or retire.

Some of me says the writing is what helped, but the acting helped as well.


The other bad guys can be done, but I'd like to keep it as close to the originals as possible.

The Riddler next would be great.

Two Face needs to be in the next one. Eckhart was AWESOME and NEEDS to be brought back as Dent.

Not to mention that eary background sound that came on everytime the Joker got face time. It was a well written,and well directed film....
I've been an Eckhart fan ever since he played in Suspect Zero. I would totally be for bringing him back.

i totally agree, Kate Beckinsale would make an absolutely wonderful choice as catwoman.....more of kate in leather is always a good thing....

I also like Jessica Biel for the role.....after stealth, texas chainsaw massacre, and blade 3, she has shown me she can get down and dirty and hold her own with the physical aspects of the role....and she is one of the hottest women in hollywood.

IMHO, it was a great movie, but I think Batman Begins has better rewatchability. There wasn't enough time spent on the psyche of Bruce Wayne.

You know what Nolan should do? Walk away. Make this the last Batman you will make. You're not going to do any better. Sure, there's hundreds of millions of dollars to be made, but it's going to suck. There's no possible way you can top this. Your lead is dead. No one is going to come close to replacing him as the Joker, or come as close to his performance in this as any other villain. Warner Brothers is going to this up anyway, so leave. Go make some more insanely creative movies with your brother, but leave the Batman franchise alone.

He did do an amazing job, but if they did another movie with the Joker, and nobody knew that it was a different actor than Heath ledger playing the Joker, and they did a good/similar job, nobody would be any the wiser. But because they know its a different actor, they will nitpick at every conceivable difference they can find.

ok. just get goyer, j nolan and c nolan to work together on a story. their dialouge and acting direction could use help, but I've always loved their stories.

I'm late to this party at SpursTalk, but saw the movie twice! I want to see it again, but this time in IMAX.

It delivers all over. The story, characters, everything. Heath Ledger shines bright. That scene when he is in the police car and their is no music is just beyond epic. Very thrilling.

It is still #1 on IMDB, and made $24 million at the box office yesterday after its record breaking weekend. The Dark Knight for the win!

As for a new villain, I really would like to see Riddler and Penguin. Nolan can really make the Penguin work in his Batman universe. Penguin is the second creepiest character after Joker I think.
