Yes guys, let's listen to the smart guys who think this game was lost by the Eagles and not won by the Cowboys...

I don't see how this game was choked at all... if anything this game was in so many ways set up to be choked by the Cowboys.

But then again there has to be someone to blame.

The Cowboys choked less than the Eagles. Happy?

McNabb and Nowitzki are almost soul mates in different sports. They're both incredibly talented, uniquely skilled, and pretty good leaders. Unfortunately they have really spotty records when it comes to clutch play. Sporadic flashes of brilliance in crunch time, mixed in with an unfortunately large amount of choking.
So who would vince Young be compared to?

If you think that call was correct you need to go to bed before you embarrass yourself any more. Pure and simple.

How in the was that the correct call? The OFFENSIVE player grabbed the Defensive players jersey while both were making a play for the ball. Henry looked BACK for the ball and had great position but the one that was interfering was the OFFENSIVE player. Clearly you saw replays, right?

McNabb had about 15 yards of daylight twice on that final drive. Getting a first down with the clock running is better than dancing around for 10 seconds before getting blasted by Ware.

Dallas brought some heat, but they left a lot of holes on the field that McNabb could have taken advantage of.
Yes, but he knew he needed yards to get into the end zone and buying time for a receiver to get open was the way to get them. Only the defense finally covered the out of the receivers and let nothing open. Nobody choked.

Nobody choked anything. No refs did this or that whole "one team lost the other team didn't win" bull . A great game by two really good teams. Just shows how dangerous a healthy McNabb can be. Props to Dallas for overcoming their dumbass mistakes and props to Philly for making Dallas pay for them most of the night.

Are you saying the eagles didn't choke this game? Like I said, cowboy fans are full of themselves.

also maybe i'm thinkin of somethin else on the pass interference, but i wouldn't put it past some got ass cowboy fans to think they never do anything wrong

It's been obvious that you and a large percentage of cowboy fans are blind homers.

So can you tell me how it was the Cowboys awesome D that Mcnabb didn't run for the 1st down when he had about 20 yards of open space in front of him?

So you're telling me dancing around waiting for someone to get open knowing DeMarcus Ware is on your ass isn't making a bad decision when you've got 15 yards of running space and over a minute on the clock with a timeout?

Sorry but that's flat out ty decision making by McNabb.

A large percentage of most teams fans are blind homers.

Blaming the refs is weak especially in football. There are things that can be called on almost every play. Do the refs miss calls? Sure but did it affect the outcome of the game? No. Dallas' 11 penalties and two turnovers almost cost them, as did Philly's to's and lack of execution on that last drive.

At that point getting a first down was the right decision. You get the first down and then you have 4 more cracks at chucking it downfield, along with a more fatigued Dallas defense. McNabb's brain froze completely on that last drive.

Less than 2 minutes and he needed a touchdown so he was trying to buy time to let a receiver get open for a big play. He forgo a probably 10 to 15 yard scramble in the middle of the field for a big play, but the DEFENSE didnt let anything open up. In hindsight running would have been better, but only because the defense stepped up and took away his receivers. Nobody choked, McNabb played a great game and escaped pressure all night when most other QBs would have been pounded.

Explain to me how the Eagles choked more than we won?
We outgained them in total yards
    We lost the turnover battle
We had more penalties by far
We out gained them in the air
We didn't have a run game at all until the 3rd quarter

So how did they choke more?

Let's not forget that Philly was damn near about to make it 44-34 until Donovan suddenly forgot how to hand off a football.

If the cowboys defense would have been weak in the secondary as usual, McNabb buying time and hitting a receiver for a big play would have been a great play by McNabb. He was looking for that and expecting his receivers to get open, the secondary shut that down. Defense finally stepped up big to seal the game.

That right there condemns McNabb, you never "expect" anything, you take what the defense gives you, you find the weakness in the defense and take advantage of it. You never "expect" something to happen.

The Dallas secondary covered great, and they brought heat on McNabb, I'm not saying they didn't do their jobs. But McNabb didn't take what the defense gave him, he didn't take advantage of the weakness they left in the middle of the field. If he does that, the Eagles have a much better shot than 4th and 17.

Cowboys spotted eagles 14 pts with turnovers when they had the ball after a defensive stop looking to go up 21-6. The game turned fast at that point, but the cowboys came back to win anyway.
