4 is ok but it takes teh heart to win back to back and nobody has done that in the state of Texas except teh Houston Rockets!
I know someone is about to cue the Jordan effect, so I will get this out of the way. People say the only reason the rox won back to back is because Jordan retired. 1st, those people must really believe that Jordan would have won 8 in a row, because I don't. Second, the Rox matched up well with the Bulls in that time, but started to get torched by Jordan when Barkley and Pippen arrived. Third, Jordan said himself that the Rockets would have been their toughest matchup in 93-94, and 94-95.
I agree with the sack of here.
How the would you know djohn. How old were you when the Rockets won those les? ing 2?
Does it matter? I still witnessed
I remember distinctly in 93-94 watching rox/knicks when all of a sudden, OJ in his white Bronco took the game off for some odd minutes
Doesn't really matter cause at the end of the day............Duncan>>Hakeem, 4 - 2 in championships, San Antonio>>>Houston in everything, Virgin Islands>>>>>>>>>>>>Nigeria, Wake Forrest>>>>>University of Houston.....................and
4 rings got!
I hope you're joking![]()
crofl Virgin Islands owned by a storm
crofl no swimming pool
What other argument could you make other than Hakeem being better defensively by a slight margin if you compare both their defensive primes. Duncan's been more consistent though.
And Duncan never lost in the finals to a slow-footed, blonde looking white boy from French lick Indiana.![]()
Dumbest statement all time at spurstalk, or ever made in general. Hakeem carried a team to a le by himself, Duncan had better supporting casts, Hakeem went to the finals twice in an era dominated by Isaiah, Bird, Magic, etc..Hakeem dominated Robinson, or do you not remember, and would have done the same to Duncan
at the Miami hurricane(AKA Dwayne Wade
) sweeping Nazi and Jew boy Dirky&Marky out of the finals.

I'll give that Robinson<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Hakeem. But that's it! They don't call him the best PF of all time for nothing. At the end of the day great players are judged by how many championships/finals MVP/MVP they win regardless of whatever era they played. Timmy/Kobe/Shaq>>>>>>>>>>>Lebron until his fingers say otherwise.
It would be pretty close. Hakeem was great as was Duncan. Duncan led the team in points, rebounds, blocks, and assists for playoffs i think. Plus 21, 20, 10, and 8 in game 6 of finals to win the championship is a game for the ages.
What? Hakeem went once in that era. Bird and Magic had long since retired by Hakeem's second finals trip, and Isiah retired that season. Don't tell me you thought Hakeem was on the 81 team that went to the finals.
You mad because Duncan > Hakeem? Or u mad because you didn't get enough hugs and kisses from your mom when you were little? Or could it be because you still have the 6 foot pole stuck up your ass?
2006 was the best, but who's gonna guard the Dream?
