ATH Nelson Agholor is definitely on campus as of about an hour ago. He's also working out for the coaches. I posted briefly this morning but had to delete it because the report on Twitter was incorrect.

Per Hook 'Em 24/7, DE Jamal Palmer of McKinney Boyd will not attend J12 this weekend. He's decided to participate in a Baylor camp instead. Palmer may visit Austin later on this summer but nothing has been solidified. Baylor is one of few teams that have offered him thus far, so it looks like he's chosen to first visit the school showing him the most love and look at others later.

Also, as of this morning, DE Torshiro Davis of Shreveport, LA could be coming to Austin as early as this weekend to work out at J12. I doubt there's any relation to Palmer having a change a heart, but the timing is interesting. Hopefully the staff has a reason to feel optimistic about Davis at this point.

The red carpet is out for Agholor. Good set up in my opinion with the weight room full of NFL players. Larmond is Marcell Harris' coach and working the UT camps. From the Twitters:

J12 should be a good weekend for Torshiro to visit. Echols, Tim Cole, Malcom Brown and Cayleb Jones should all be there. In addition to the now enrolled 2011 class and plenty of 2013 studs. I just want Torshiro to make it down.

I'm going to check in with Dalton Santos' mom via facebook tonight. Perhaps she can give me the scoop on where he's headed.

Wild pipe dream here, but I'll throw it out there. Is there any possibility of Timmons' departure opening a spot on the defensive side of the ball? Currently, there are roughly a dozen more offensive players than defensive players on the Texas roster.

Hopefully we'll see more attrition and the Texas staff pursues Dalton Santos. Santos succeeding Steve Edmond is a dream of mine.

I read a rumor that was a bit of a stretch, but entertaining nonetheless. It basically said he was waiting out the new NBA labor agreement in hopes that high school players could once again make the jump to the NBA. I don't know if he simply doesn't want to attend college, has a handler that's pimping him out, etc., but it's beyond silly at this point. Freakin' UConn.

I hope 247 is right on this one. Thank goodness there's a viable alternative to Orangebloods out there now. If Manning, Vincent Taylor, Isiah Golden, and Ben Hughes make it to J12, Bo should have a pretty good idea of who the priorities are at DT for 2013.

I'd add that 2012 Round Rock DT Glen Antoine received a J12 invitation from Bo Davis. I think Bo is just being thorough, but he invited Tomme Mark to J5. DT attrition has been rumored for some time, and Bo could be evaluating some in state options.

Talk in East Texas has both Traylon Shead and Brock Fitzhenry as possible roster moves. Fitzhenry may grad early. Couple of folks close to Shead say it's not true.

Shead leaving the program wouldn't be a good thing. RB depth isn't outstanding as it stands now, and Fozzy and Cody are graduating.

My understanding shyne is that Texas needs one more player to leave the program to make it to 85 before the fall. Just my opinion, if Texas knocks it down to 82-83 scholarship players, I think we'll see additional 2012 offers. , the Daniel Brooks offer came out of nowhere, so the numbers could be less tight than outside observers believe it to be.

Patrick Nwkopara, Taylor Bible, De'Aires Cotton, and Eyron Barnett have also been mentioned as attrition candidates. I wouldn't expect much from any of those players. I wouldn't shed a tear if all of them left.
