Argentina and Brazil would still dominate a combined confederation. The ones that would suffer from that unification would be Mexico and the US 'cause they wouln't be so sure to qualify for the WC as they're right now.

I would also like to see this happening but I reckon there're some logistic problems, travelling from Argentina to Canada isn't the same as to travel from France to Greece.

    +1

Mexico has played the last 7 Copa America and has won none.
Mexican teams have been playing the Libertadores for years now and have won none.
Mexican teams have been playing the Sudamericana for years now and have won 1 with 8 southamericans in the first team.

Mexico will suffer A LOT if the confederation are joined.

Every time somebody misses a goal he's all over that : "He should have stopped and hit it towards the far post". Like he never missed a goal in his life.

I don't think anyone is talking about a unification. Just 1 championship for all american teams.

You do realize I've pointed out numerous times that beating the U.S. didn't mean right?

These kinds of posts are the reason I wished the Mexican team would've taken the A team.. who has played better than teams like Argentina but never capitalized..

But seriously, expecting anything to come out of a C Squad that played against Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.. arguably the hardest group in Copa America is pretty re ed IMO.

I do believe this Mexican could be the 3rd best, it's between Chile, Uruguay, or Mexico.

"Full roster" .. You're right, it was a full roster then, but that team is nothing like the one we have now..

what changes? a coach that plays Chicharito? he started vs. Uruguay that match and didn't do anything tbh... even benched at halftime probably for being a brat with his teammates...

    Ignoring the fact that

    A. this is the U22 team and most of them never played for NT before.
    B. 8 players suspended and replaced days before Mexico's first game

I would say they did fairly well considering the cir stances. Although not happy about the result of course, I wasn't expecting much from this team. Look at the first couple of pages before the tourney even started i said mexico was ed.

What do you mean in the same fasion? And Mexico only had one chance at striking? Here are the stats for that game
    Arg---------------------Mex
    11(6) Shots (on Goal) 16(6)

Not to mention Argentina's first goal was clearly offsides and the 2nd was a huge up by osorio i mean HUGE .. Argentinia converted there chances mexico didn't. Not seeing the comparsion here at all.

Yep. first place was on the line and you could have avoided ARG if you would have drawn!

Props then. I believe vs. Uruguay it's still a positive record on official matches mostly because of the last two losses on previous Copa America's 3rd place matches...
