2012 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread (+ related news)

The second game being broadcasted on the Longhorn Network has been narrowed down to Kansas and Kansas State.

according to jeff howe, javonte magee reached out to duane akina a month ago and the courtship has been renewed.

I have mixed feelings about Magee. Namely, I have reservations about Sam Houston High School. School administrators, staff and faculty did Quincy Russell a great disservice. It's a valid question to ask if they their student athletes college eligible.

I think Magee is a swing guy that grows into a DT. Scipio's pro scout beliefs Boyette switches to offense at some point, so there might be room for another DT. Magee is definitely the best remaining DE / DT in the state. If Magee is serious he should visit Texas and iron things out with the staff.

After 328 posts in the same thread he reportedly has decided its time to show his tremendous versatility and depth as a human being. He is debating reviewing the most recent movie he watched (Hook Em' Horns...a do entary about the UT Longhorns), detailing his most recent trip (a tour of the Texas Longhorns weight room) or the most recent book he read (Mack Brown: The Early Years).

Meanwhile, some rumors are swirling that he is actually an alternate account of TFloss32 created so that he could talk to himself. But most consider that too pathetic to even imagine.

i'm actually quite surprised he's so highly ranked as he doesn't have the explosiveness you'd expect for such a highly ranked national recruit. i don't see magee at anything but a DT after a couple years in college. dude certainly looks powerful though and has a frame for piledriving people.

I didn't even know thats what they were referring to. That just makes things worse because its even stupider than I ing imagined. Now I'm worried that a lot of them won't qualify academically, and then of course the viability of suicide will be considered because they didn't make TexasGang.
