    Hard to believe Davis would cut ties with LSU and sign with Texas in a public press conference in LA. It would definitely be nice, but maybe this is just to instill some drama in the whole thing. Makes it exciting, which it successfully did. Hope I'm wrong though.

    See that tweet from Tips. One of the insiders on OB (El Mahico) said Torshiro is actually the one who re-opened the lines of communication with Texas last week. Something about LSU didn't sit right with him so he wanted to look in another direction. It's hearsay at this point but worth passing along.
