Parker seemed to indicate he thought Duncan might be back for the second leg of rodeo trip. No idea how he'd know that, but there it is.
i hope it will not be as bad as Tom Googs and Randy livinstone incident...my heart bleeds watching Timmy went down

Paul Garcia also saying that Baynes was walking around fine after the game also
For those that didn't see Tim walking in the back AFTER initial help from DeJuan and Jack:

that pic is good news. Clearly he would need help if it was a torn ligament. Besides Parker encouraginc comments, wizards coach said he spoke with the docs and told him timmy will be fine. Let's hope it's true
^ Very true mate. Promising picture of him walking, Parker's comments and the doc's saying he will be fine. 3/3
I think he'll be out for another 5-6 games.
Really good sign. Thank God.
Not necessarily. Tom Brady and Robert Griffin III both walked away with hardly a limp after they tore their ACL's.. Just saying, we're not out of the woods yet. This may very well be a serious injury. I hope to God it isn't, but I'm not going to feel any better until I hear the results of the MRI.
After some analysis, remember I'm an optimist, but , I think the brace should get whatever the it wants(if it could talk) and that Will Sevening and Daisuke "Dice" Yamaguchi, should get cases of Rock and Hammer Wine from Pop, not the stuff that's easily obtainable but the premium stuff that Pop only breaks out for special occasions because(assuming all goes fairly well-like a couple of weeks off or something like that) that this Webster Roll could have been an epic train wreck.
Tim Moment 1:
Tim Moment 1.5
Tim Ankle Front
Tim Ankle and Knee Front
Tim down - Dice and Will are there. Martell stays to check, Former Spurs Assistant Don Newman looks on. Patty, Matty, Jack, and Blair are there to assist.
Tim, already free of Jack, releases DeJuan's assistance.
Tim's walking unassisted.
Tim makes the turn.
Tim's pretty flexible. It's good that he has long arms because he was able to place his left hand down to alleviate the buckling of his knee. The angle looks crazy but with that brace on, the force isn't on the knee directly but on his thigh and calf areas along with the knee, that spreads out the force. His ankle must be thinking he was swimming with flippers again but he didn't hobble off with his right foot either. I think we all are extremely lucky and there is plenty of time for Tim to get healthy on the drive for 5.
Damn I hope TD can come back. It's gonna suck if we don't have an epic WCF rematch between our teams.
I am pretty sure its not an ACL tear ... I had one myself and I saw they way guys like Shumpert, Rose, West tore their ACL ... very dissimilar to what happened to Timmy because he did not really twist his knee. Lets remain confident ...
What sucks additionally is the Baynes injury ... I thought, well, with Duncan down he can play extended minutes which would be another blessing in disguise because of an injury of a Spurs player ... lets see how long Baynes will be out as well
Thanks Todd! Or Joe?
I just want to point out, it's a different game. Knack for the obvious. But Brady was hit with a blunt object from the side(A helmet) with his cleats locked into the turf. RG3, an already injured knee just made worse with the turf. Incidentally, Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery on both those QBs.
Ive done my acl when someone dived on the outside of my knees in soccer. Was out for 3-4 months (half the season)
I was walking around perfectly 5 minutes after the incident. Adrenaline does amazing things. But then my knee would start bending an extra 15-20 degrees in my stride and i knew i was in major trouble and subbed myself off
After the game, i swole up so much i couldnt bend it at all. Had one of those massive braces on it for a few weeks.
I'm afraid to go to sleep and log-in to SpursTalk tomorrow morning to see what the headline is.
Mr. Glass?
Oh, and Westbrook suffered a bruised ego the game before that too.
also could be MCL partial tear.
A lachman test or anterior drawer test, iirc, could help diagnose ACL stability. It would have been cool for an interview from the trainers to get their feedback but i guess that would be unprecedented. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more a MCL injury.
Ha. I was typing on my smartphone while you were thinking the same thing.
+1
Makes no effort whatsoever to stop his roll even after he must obviously know he's buckling Duncan's leg.
When I watched it I immediately though of RGIII's knee buckling the same way
Much respect.
