John Starks (94 NBA Finals Game 7 2/18 FGA)
Tracy McGrady (Up 3-1, Detroit Series)
KG (I know he rang, but he was a perennial choker in Minny)
Webber
ZBO (yep, 2013 series against Spurs)
Coach: George Karl ( 8th seed Denver upsets 1st Seed SuperSonics)
HM:
Nick Anderson
Karl Malone
Steve Nash
What's funny is that TP and Manu have been more clutch and made more clutch shots than Kobe ever has in his career.
clutch as in disappearing? or costing spurs rings and games due to last possession bull ?
Buckner has to be on this list. He cost his team a le on an easy play- classic key choke.
Hardly. Kobe closed out the spurs in many playoffs (3- peat).
Norwood
Manu
Buckner
Webber
N. Perez
All cost their team les.
Calvin Shiraldi lost that game a lot more than Buckner did, tbh. The game was already tied when Buckner committed the error.
Actually, Buckner shouldn't have been in there in the first place. Normally Dave Stapleton replaced Buckner for defensive purposes in those situations, but John MacNamara left him in so he could celebrate the WS victory on the field.
Meh, Ginobili was never favored in this race tbh. Point taken on most of the others. How bout that golfer who choked away some 6 strokes on the last hole(s) of a major? Forgot his name.
Or are you talking "real" sports only?
What a good en list, Mid. Great all around sports knowledge.
What's unbelievable to me is that ing Schiraldi had the balls to complain about Buckner to the media when Schiraldi was the whole reason the game was tied with runners in scoring position when that ball came to Buckner.
That's actually what I was referring to... The Fumble
Matt Schaub
Tracy McGrady
Karl Malone
Chris Webber
Tony Romo
Honorable Mention: Brad Lidge
Sure. Just saying he was known as a fumbler well before The Fumble.
See to me "choking" is performing differently than you normally would because of the pressure of the moment. In Byner's case I don't think he fumbled because of the pressure of the moment- he fumbled because he didn't take good care of the football as a general rule. If anything Byner elevated his game in clutch situations.
I'm nitpicking, I know.
Wow, how did I forget Starks? Gets the le winning shot blocked in Game 6 at the buzzer and then shoots about 4% in Game 7.
Damn, on further consideration that's exactly what happened with Danny Green, so I guess put him on my team too.![]()
Neftali Perez.
His last name isn't Perez, it's Feliz.
Patrick Ewing
Greg Norman
Tony Romo
Wes Welker
ARod
coach - Marty Schottenheimer
Tony Parker
Tim Duncan
Manu Turnobili
K.Leonard
Danny Green
Coach- Pop
close enough
Tony Romo
Manu Ginobili
Kirby Bryant
Jean Van de Velde
Karl Malone
Bench: Nate Kaeding, Felix Rodriguez, Calvin Schiraldi, Rahim Moore
Coach: Marty Schottenheimer
too soon
Also, where's Splitter?
I believe I found him......
Easy..... the 5 scrubs on the floor for SA at the end of game 6 of the finals![]()
