LMAO at "about the fans, not the Spurs."
If you watched the Finals, you'd realize why the Spurs fans you hate are acting in a way you find contemptible. So you either did not pay attention to the Finals or are a complete ing moron for not appreciating a painfully obvious cause and effect.
Manu and Splitter played like dog . Despite massive overachievements from Duncan, Green, and others, we fell short because of Manu and Splitter's shortcomings. Since neither of them are likely to get better (Manu ain't getting younger and Splitter's problem is being inherently Euro soft), its a tad disappointing to fans that the Spurs just blew their entire free-agent wad on . . . (wait for it) . . . Manu and Splitter.
Think about it this way: The Heat were NBA Champs in 2012 and nonetheless aggressively pursued free agents -- in particular Ray Allen and Chris "Birdman" Anderson -- to bolster their roster. Allen and Anderson were huge for them in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Spurs are content to bring back the same roster that, despite overachieving, failed to get a ring. One team tirelessly improved an already championship-winning roster, the other is content to rehash one that can't get it done.
Yeah, that might irk a few fans whose hearts are still broken after a tragic Game 6.
If you can't understand that, the fault is yours not ours.
