You've been saying the same for years

where are those Front offices? what have they won? Outside of LA and Miami, you only have one hit wonders...

teams have gone over 5 rebuilds or more since this FO took over, and they still can't win .

Poor closeted Laker fan getting abused as usual.

    You forgot a couple:

    1. Diamonds in the rough: finding Stephen Jacksons, Bruce Bowens, Danny Greens, and Gary Neals among the league's castoffs and wannabes. Spurs' record here speaks for itself.

    2. Player development -- taking the players you have and making them better. Spurs are the best in the league at this.
I would not add Gary Neal onto that list at all but thats a pretty good list there (Not a fan), those guys made a difference. I would add Barry but he was not a castoff and sharp shooter before he got here and we knew what he could bring. The others good point there, they find some gems. Kawhi Leonard too was a draft steal, Spurs had him on their radar and knew he could be special! Splitter who knows? Will he get better? Lets hope because we need it.

Your damn right, the longevity here is INSANE! NOBODY lasted near this long with a core, NOBODY! Good points there. Shaq and Kobe core got three rings! They got that out of that core they had! Then later a different team got a few more. Miami won't be around in a few years with this team and it will all be a memory. Show me a team who is good for 10+ years with the same core nowadays in FA! I bet you can't find it! NONE. Pistons had two years of a run! That team faded, Boston two finals appearances too, over! DONE! GOOD DAMN POINT! DAMN GOOD!

he's gonna tell you how the Lakers do it... like FA's are just as likely to come here as they are to go to LA
Don't forget trades -- I mean, flipping the roster constantly is why Daryl Morey's Rockets are always so much more successful than we are.

No, drafting definitely is part of it -- he was just claiming that the only three ways to improve a roster were draft, free agency, and trades, so I was adding the other important ones. Spurs don't do much with free agency and trades, but they dominate in draft value, second chance players, and player development.

Over the last 10 years what exactly has the front office done to improve the team involving trades and free agency? Look at the spurs roster, full of their draft picks and no players acquired via free agency or trades. Front offices that can reload quickly with smart trades and free agency will pass by the slow poke spurs who only add players with their draft picks.

When you only use the draft to improve the team the future looks bleak after Duncan with the current front office.
If my memory serves me correctly,

We've been pretty damn good the last ten years!
We haven't had cap space because we've had to pay our HOF worthy players!
Getting good free agents without having the the money to pay them!
75% of our first round draft picks are still playing in the league!
Trading for ty players on ty teams cuz a good team aint giving you their good players!
We'll have a load of cap space after the Big Three to actually pay for good free agents!
Almost won the ship and played a game 7 in the NBA Finals!
Kyle Korver just got 6 mil but ing about Manu getting 7!

Even counting eras prior to free agency, Auerbach Celtics and Showtime Lakers are the only teams with better success over a long stretch of time with basically the same core. And both teams are deservedly legendary.

You don't deserve to be fans of this team. This team that exceeded any and all expectations and were an angel's ass hair away from another LOB. You on the players who have given you their blood, sweat and tears and repay them by wanting to replace them with Marcin Gortat and Kyle Korver or whatever FA is on the market. You all suck and I am ashamed to be associated with you. I love the Spurs, but I hate you all. I hope you all die from eating bad chicken at Taco Cabana. A slow, miserable death sweating on the toilet with bile shooting out of your assholes much like the wet that spews from your keyboard. You all deserve to be kicked in your shriveled testicles by Gregory Popovich untill you start hemorrhaging blood out of you ears and nostrils, you fat, flauta eating s. I want to set fire to your Ginobili jerseys while you're wearing them. Seriously, you suck.

Lets hope they get one this year to add to it. WE need some backup there at the wing or PG who can run the O when Tony sits. Thats my concern right now.

Apparently "ohm" missed the 2013 NBA Finals. Allow me to summarize:

-> Manu had a load of turnovers and bricked a lot of ill-advised 3-point attempts
-> The entire Miami Heat roster ran a block-train on Splitter

    Honorable mention:
-> Danny Green hit a lot of threes in Games 1-4
-> Duncan had a heroic performance in Game 6*

*Was not enough to overcome first two points above

LMAO at "about the fans, not the Spurs."

If you watched the Finals, you'd realize why the Spurs fans you hate are acting in a way you find contemptible. So you either did not pay attention to the Finals or are a complete ing moron for not appreciating a painfully obvious cause and effect.

Manu and Splitter played like dog . Despite massive overachievements from Duncan, Green, and others, we fell short because of Manu and Splitter's shortcomings. Since neither of them are likely to get better (Manu ain't getting younger and Splitter's problem is being inherently Euro soft), its a tad disappointing to fans that the Spurs just blew their entire free-agent wad on . . . (wait for it) . . . Manu and Splitter.

Think about it this way: The Heat were NBA Champs in 2012 and nonetheless aggressively pursued free agents -- in particular Ray Allen and Chris "Birdman" Anderson -- to bolster their roster. Allen and Anderson were huge for them in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Spurs are content to bring back the same roster that, despite overachieving, failed to get a ring. One team tirelessly improved an already championship-winning roster, the other is content to rehash one that can't get it done.

Yeah, that might irk a few fans whose hearts are still broken after a tragic Game 6.

If you can't understand that, the fault is yours not ours.

    Not sure if serious.

If Manu hadn't shat all over the court in Games 2 and 4, we wouldn't have needed his heroics in Game 5.

You do realize that you justified the highest paid player on the roster by essentially arguing that he had one good game in a seven-game series, right?

    tl;dr

Long story short . . . you are an en led, unappreciative weasel. Spurs should have won game 6. There were multiple opportunities Duncan, Manu, TP, Kawai . . . Pop. It didn't work out. Stop whining about it.
