Yes eventually the sun and earth will cool and as the sun expands we will fall into the Earth as the orbit decays. That is why I said relative to the human lifespan. The earth still torques and the plates still rest on magma.
    Understood.

Meh, not really worried about this, considering how many underground nuclear tests have been conducted.

Here's a time lapse animation of all nuclear explosions

    But, oooh, fracking scary
You were trained as an engineer and should know better than this. A nuclear explosion is an impulse over within minutes. As explosion goes it is a big one but it still remains a short impulse.

A lubricant acts to change the coefficient of friction. The sense of scale is so much more tremendously large. The normal force for a tectonic plate is the other variable. Then you have that act over the course of a decade.

You wave your hands at several thousand explosions as opposed to the internal forces of the earth itself.

Uh, duhh. That's how we distinguish clandestine nuclear tests by rogue states like N.Korea from earthquakes. Maybe the CTBTO should train the sensitive ears of their international monitoring system on these dangerous fracking "lubricants".

And you completely miss the point regarding energy. I question your truthfulness regarding an engineering degree. You show zero ap ude towards any of the core engineering requirements as in this case was statics. You respond to my point with a clear red herring.

Either you are lying or you can indeed get a degree from UTSA without actually having to have learned the material. It's ing sad. And I got my undergrad years ago too. They just have you work on the HTML because your worthless with anything else?
