Why does Harry Reid's crooked ass matter here? Bundy didn't want to pay to graze on land he didn't own. LOL ancestral claims to the land when his family bought the ranch in the 1940s. Like I've said all along, this is much bigger than Bundy. The BLM is out of control, there's another land grab going on in Texas/Oklahoma as we speak. So when the militia types were showing up with semiautomatic rifles and pistols and the guy who lost in court keeps reminding officials that he has gun and that he will resort to a range war if need be, then what is a proper response.
Ever since Jay Edgar Hoover and later WW2, US federal policy is to meet opposition with overwhelming force. Quite frankly had this been the 1960s, then the national guard would have been sent in.
The proper response should be a writ declaring him in contempt of multiple court orders and arresting the man. Let him or any of those under his authority who follow along sit in the can for 6 months.
And if anyone thinks that the Occupy Wall street people should have been sent to jail, then this guy should be strung up a tree for the he is pulling. I expect you are trolling but even if you are earnest, spewing that pro militia threat and talk of armed revolution is just asking for attention you do not want.
