holy![]()
& that would be a shame-Lin would be transcended by and with James.
ok, so if its 4-20 its ours, which is great I guess.
Interesting.
Please sign Fatmelo, Houston....
The Rockets are the Angels of the NBA.. they ain't winning despite piling on all these big namers
Swamp Dogs next year:
King Paul (when he gets traded back in exchange for Gordon)
Melo
James
Davis
Asik
6th man: Austin "Dat Mikey" Rivers
JHUTT
Why would NO not put any kind of protection on that pick?
Nah. It can't happen yet, regardless. Trades occurring before July 10 still use the 2013-2014 cap.
Gonna be funny when Asik and Davis dominate Howard next year every time they play the Rockets.
It's Dell Demps, he'll probably trade Davis to get Choke Paul back![]()
They did:
But, but, but "Morey's a moron."
If the pick is between picks 4-19, it goes to Houston. And Anthony Davis gets injured alot, they could potentially be a top 4 pick for Asik.
You think ol tumor cheeks isn't a smart man?![]()
This trade reeks of desperation by New Orleans. It's rather unsettling, actually.
The Pelicans had a terrible defense last season and they want a center to bang against the bigger bodies. Asik will help with defense and rebounding for next season while Davis continues to mature physically.
Davis has a strong perimeter game on the offensive end. He can play with Asik on the floor.
This will be a younger version of Duncan/Robinson. They will play well together,,,as other posters have stated,,,Davis has an outside game and doesn't need to rely solely on scoring in the paint.
Top 2/3 of the lottery does not mean 4-19. It means 11-19.
i think its a great fit. now that houston is pushing for cap space its smart to just take a pick, but i thought last season the asik/anderson trade was way too obvious for both teams. i'm as big an anthony davis on this site (maybe besides Hornet78 and BRhornet) as anybody, and i think he's MUCH better fit at the 4 on both ends of the floor. instead of defending rugged centers he can roam more as a 4 and cause all sorts of havoc with his length
while i like Asik to New Orleans, this is a young team around a young star, i don't like them giving away a first round pick... especially for an expiring contract

The Holiday trade was more desperate. This trade fills a need.
Good lord you're a ing idiot, labels such as that aren't built overnight. Not sure why I'm trying to talk sense into a half-wit that would follow him off a clif though.
Conflicting reports, not sure what the terms are at this point tbh.
Update: ESPN says it will goto the rockets if its 4-19
